Me screaming at the monitor "YES!! WATCH DITTO FIRST!!!" 😅 But just for a quick synopsis, Ditto shows the parasocial relationship between fans (Ban Heesoo = Bunnies) and idols where many young people see KPop as making them happy and staying youthful (myself included), and feeling like the idols are their close friends, when in reality, they are not, then need to come to terms with the fact that they have to grow up and move on with their lives. The fawn represents youth and innocence, and in the end Heesoo finally decides to let it go. As for OMG, it's in the idols perspective where they feel like they lose their identify because of their wanting to please their fans. Each member has their own quirk that the fans see them as, and the idols becoming what the fans see them as. They have to remind themselves of who they are. Anyway, that's just a quick rundown. NewJeans will always be there, exactly as you remember them, even if you eventually move on with your life. All your memories with them were real, even if they're only real to you - just don't ignore everything else in your life and get lost in it. and Idols are a lot of things to a lot of people. Who are they to themselves? Who is right? Does it matter when all of it is crazy and made up anyway? Love these concepts!

Ditto MV's and song in general make me emotional no matter how much i watch them/listen. its SUCH a great story and super relatable for all of us growing up. im 24 now and nothing musically has reminded me of so many great and and heart breaking memories at all like DItto has and continues to do. BUT the whole basis of OMG and Ditto is explaining the relationship between fans and idols and how we become attached to each other for a certain period of time and then slowly start to drift apart but at the end of the day, you're always in the back of each others mind. It's a really complicated topic to write about but if you really wanted to take a deep dive into DItto in particular the youtuber Taejiu did an absolutely WONDERFUL video essay on the song/MV. MV’s are usually the way to go for reactions as they have a storyline to them mostly. Then dance performances usually get released afterwards which its just straight up dance performance.

Let me tell you, NewJeans is no ordinary group, they’ve the best Music Videos, the Best story line and concept. They’re now so big that’s they now on par with BTS and Blackpink, it’s only been a year since they debut! And here we are, watching them rapidly Dominating the World!

You should always, IMO, watch the music videos before the performance videos, for any group, to be honest. Of course watch both, but I'd always start with the music video first, and in release order, then the perf videos, IMO. There is a storyline in a lot of KPOP music videos, so that's important also for that reason. You won't get, or see, the storyline if you just watch the performance videos, the music videos is where that is contained, and NewJeans has a very deep one.

Yes, always try to react to MV first, then performance. And in chronological order, duh 😂 For me, it's a pet peeve and because of that I stopped watching this video right at the beginning. But it's just me, you do you! 😄

in ditto newjeans dont exist dude.. they are heesos imaginary friends or her listening to new jeans and being afan so hard in that she sees actuallybthem as being friends of hers... then she throws them away to get on with real life to go out with the boy.. newjens imaginary essentially lol
