Honestly, I think people who call this as being groomed are just calling it out of proportion. Maybe it's because I'm used with sport where mentor or coach are usually greatly appreciated by their players, seems like they see MHJ as some kind of mentor, and there is nothing odd about giving supporting message or thanks for your mentor especially if they are in a hard time, that's actually the time I would expect for players to stand up for their coach or mentor if the mentors are someone they really admire and thankful to. "Once is enough, it's weird that they're doing it all the time" if the situation is normal, then it might be weird, but given that MHJ is still facing problem till now, it makes sense because their message's intention are LITERALLY to support MHJ, if she was okay, they won't be mentioning her all the time.
