Newly eroded bedrock produces some nice gold

Welcome back to another video in this one i head back onto the dirt roads looking for a new creek to try the creek showed not much gold but lucky we spotted a new exposed bedrock which produced some really nice gold as we were about to leave and also we did some detecting and found some hot rocks to crush I hope you enjoy leave a comment like and subscribe #sofala #hillend #goldprospecting

Nice one Glenno, great result for a quick panning session. I just posted a short of my little creek, appears to be nugget or nothing, panned off a couple of buckets from there tonight for only a few specks.

Thanks Neil I grew up prospecting around Sofala no comparison between the 2 to many hassles in Nundle and I think it’s easy gold in Sofala but Nundle is closer to home so I know I will get on good gold eventually

Great vid, I'm in Coffs next month. What's the closest area you can legally prospect ? The nsw maps say Armadale area is the closest zone? Seems too far. I just want to try panning and yabby pumping a creek without worrying!? Hopefully get half a gram or something show up in the pan.

Could you possibly have a email or Facebook messenger I have some pictures of this nugget I found where I live Catawba mountain Virginia. Found it 2 ft down not magnetic I tried melting it I melted a tin can. I tried too compare the nugget and I put the nugget in my fire pit and it bubbled small beads on the surface
