I had pre-ordered the 7800+ and Berzerk. The wait is torture.

Cool! Never saw that skating one - find these sorts of games very enjoyable and relaxing in a world of red dot notifications and visual flash and blur - everything working so hard these days to keep my eyeballs and keep me clicking and playing

I feel that 😆❤️ so very much. I def love being able to kick back and play older games. It's def a more casual feel for most of them. Yasss let me know if you check it out!

I remember many of the older games on the original hardware, still have a few of them too. One that was rather surprising for a 2600 game was RealSports Volleyball. The animated background with a day/night cycle was a nice touch for an otherwise simple game. It's a shame they didn't do multi-color sprites too, like they did with Boxing and Tennis. It's still a fun game and one of the best on the RealSports lineup.

@@RationalistRebel That's dope that you still have the originals ❤️❤️ I definitely agree about the day and night cycle, versus a simple game that definitely was really nice to be able to have that little bit of add-ons. They did not do the rest like boxing and tennis that's for sure. It definitely is still a fun game, but that would be awesome if they could spruce the others up a little bit more without taking away the originality.

I do like that Atari, Sega, and even Nintendo rereleased old games. I think they could have done much better by offering to sell the emulator as software and then sell each title separately...say $5 for lesser known titles, and $10 for more popular ones. You would have avoided the scalpers and whatnot and everyone would have been happy. All that being said, it took me a few minutes to realize why some games were missing. Licensing issues. I get that. But without PacMan/Ms. PacMan, Pole Position or several others, I don't see this doing all that well for sales. Selling the console and games separately doesn't seem like the best of all moves. I'm actually surprised that Centipede didn't get released. Aside from all that, this is my first time seeing your channel. I hope you do well.

@@JoeSpringer97 you know that would actually be pretty awesome! Especially to be able to have it in another version, like an emulator. Then you could play the games on things like the analogue. THAT would be dope. I also agree with that, they have come out with some others with the other consoles they have released. I know a few years ago they did a specialty collector's edition Atari that came with centipede and a bunch of other very well-known games. The best part was the art on the cartridges ❤️ Thank you so much! I really appreciate it, definitely like and sub toooo!

I have to agree with you as well, though there is a wonderful feeling of nostalgia seeing a revamped version of a good memory from childhood. I do like what Evercade is doing with their software, especially releasing large Atari collections on one cartridge at a really good price.

So, you want me to pay 2024 prices for 8 bit games?

@@Richard_Albrecht I don't want you to do anything besides like and sub to my channel 😆❤️ everything else is what you decide you want to do for yourself.

29 bucks is not 2024 prices (if I recall even NES titles were more pricey back in the 80s), but if you dont like 8-bit gaming, then sure.
