The Fast Lane Car are you guy's on cristal meht comparing a fully equipped Mercedes against a standard BMW 7 serie..the BMW 7 is the most advanced luxury car in that segment 360 d cam view/finger comment/laser lights /a tablet at the back seats/ the car keys is almost like a smartphone with many options/ the first luxury car that drives on key commend. The Mercedes missing all those future's..BMW the ultimate driving machine and luxury. .and personally I see KING ROLLS ROYCE as the best luxury car of all

Alex it looks nice but it feels cheap, especially with that color combo BMW’s interior is traditional and trust me, if you have a well spaced one it’d be the best quality interior you see short of RR

That's because they're using a basic spec 740. A comparably priced 7 series has a much nicer interior.

jamviator you are wrong. Even the standard 7 series has a fantastic interior and paying more gets you a few more things but doesn’t ch age the interior drastically. As for the S Class it may look all fancy but it’s cheap and not very usable. The 7 series is far better for quality and so is Audi. The S Class is probably the most over rated car out there. They want you to spend Bentley priced in one before you get a decent spec.

Chatta290 ... I actually agree with you. It's been shown that the 7 series has better quality materials than the s-class. All I'm saying is that this review was comparing a base spec 7 series to a top spec s-class, so that's why the s-class interior looks so much better than the 7 series.

jamviator yeah maybe so. I just think In general that the 7 series looks better than the S Class an I know for a fact it’s better but yes the specs didn’t help either. In the real world the s Class is close to the price of a Bentley with that sort of spec. They ought to compare the standard spec of both cars instead as that’s what most owners are getting them with, not with endless options they will only lose money from.

Lipcsai Szilveszter it’s standard on the car with the smoking pack. It’s obviously never used for that but it’s like a bin for any rubbish and if you want the charging ports you should leave it on the spec. Audi’s have them in hate back doors usually aswell on the A6. Very handy to have

The S class is in a league of its own to be fair. the 7 series and A8 are both more like a competitor to the Tesla Model S and some luxurious SUVs in the market. I personally think the Range Rover Autobiography is the only true competitor to the S class since Ive test driven both of them. The S class offers a better ride quality, its both softer and a little more quiet than the RR but the RR isnt far behind. However The RR offers better boot space and is more capable in worse conditions so id say both are equally good.
