I am embarrassed to say this, but I simply never realized how important and transformative paint can be. That paint job makes your RV stand out over any other similar model that I can see. It is like a free upgrade if you pick the right paint scheme. Certainly worth thinking about paint very carefully.

Excellent review! -- QUESTION -- We were considering a pre 2011 RV such as a Beaver or something like that, hopefully 37; or so. However your RV seems to be a great size. Our question is this: how important is avoiding all the EPA "junk" (as we are told it is) on these new engines? Seems like a no-brainier to avoid it but we would be missing out on the adaptive cruise control and auto breaking and new technology if we go older. Is that DEF really that bad and do you find the engine to be ruined because of it? We don't care much about the price of DEF but are very concerned if those engines will prove to be a nightmare of unreliability and have costly repairs.
@rvamericayall Жыл бұрын
With the New Aire on a Freightliner Chasis we have had zero DEF issues. There have been some issues but I’m glad we have the updates of a newer coach because with an older coach you will encounter other issues because of time & wear & tear!
@TerrySprey7 ай бұрын
I’m really interested in thoughts on towing your jeep. Have you been in the west mountains is there enough power in the engine? I’m considering a new site and want to tow a Tahoe 6000 lbs
@Coleen_West10 ай бұрын
So nie! We had to come back and watch this again. Must say this is probably the best looking RV with that paint and love tha size. How has the experience been with engine reliability due to DEF etc.,? I had mentioned it earlier, but we keep getting told that "we must buy and older Beaver" or something like that and all the "they don't make them like they used to..". But yours looks better and has so many new features and I suspect rides much much better. So, how has the reliability been?
@rvamericayall10 ай бұрын
We have had zero DEF problems with this coach. If you buy on on a Freightliner Chassis they have had way less DEF issues than Spartan Chassis, from what we have been told!

Great to see your video! We're in Elkhart today and dropping our 2020 New Aire 3343 off at Master Tech tomorrow for a solar and battery installation similar to yours. Overall we really love our New Aire, but we agree with your love/hate comments too. Have you guys tried turning your recliners around for travel? We turn the forward one around 180 degrees, and the aft recliner goes sideways for travel. It's a pain to do it, but saves on wear and tear on the recliners, and it gives a little more room to get through the aisle. We also took the turntable attachments off the bottoms of the recliners too. Keep up the great videos, we love your channel!

I'm a Spartan fan. It has been my observation that there have been far more recalls on Freightliners, plus almost all innovative changes came from them. The downside is that Spartan has experienced far more DEF issues. I don't know if you can do this, but I have seen people turn their recliners sideway which makes it easier to walk through.
@rvamericayall2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip on the recliners, we have heard others do that as well, we are going to try that but they are a little tough to turn that way. Luckily our recalls on the Freightliner have been very minimal & wasn’t really an issue on our chassis.
@karenupp73862 жыл бұрын
Go New Aire Owners! Your experiences are pretty much the same as ours. We are still loving our 2019 NA 3341 after full-timing for 3 1/2 years. Question about your space when the slides are in....do you think it is due to your recliners? We have a couch in our 3341 and have more than enough room to walk straight through our coach with the slides in without any problems at all. I am wondering if this is due to the different models (3343 vs 3341) or due to reclining chairs versus the couch.
@rvamericayall2 жыл бұрын
It is the recliner’s, they suggested to turn them when traveling, which does work but is a real pain! We replaced them recently!

Such a great and informative video. Great to learn more about likes/dislikes after actually living in the coach. Curious, how did you decide motorhome vs 5th wheel/travel trailer when you decided to go full time?
@rvamericayall2 жыл бұрын
If you are going to move a lot and not just stay in one place for longer periods of time I believe a motorhome is much easier to travel with & quicker to setup & then break back down for travel.

In 2019 we bought our Tiffin Phaeton but were real close to buying the 2019 Ventana. Two things you didn't mention that I really liked about the Ventana was the Star Chassis/Comfort Steering and the fact that all the slides are flush against the body so the slide is not protruding out at all. I found these two features to be huge benefits to Newmar. There were two reasons we didn't buy the Ventana. The first was the model we wanted did not offer a king bed option. We liked the rectangular shower and they only offered that on one 40' model but that model only had a queen bed. The second reason was the vent over the induction cooktop vented inside the coach instead of outside the coach. Has Newmar corrected this issue?
@rvamericayall2 жыл бұрын
If you order the Newmar you can ask for the exterior vent, as an additional cost of course. The Phaeton is good choice as well! Safe Travels and Happy Camping
