That Max knows his stuff, it was really informative, the way he absorbed the information, and doled out the advice, recommendations, his delivery, lack of awkwardness was impressive. He's a pro, it's no wonder Titelist put him front and center for this video. That was really fun to watch.

Short game is a problem for me too. I watched that Rick Shiels/Dan Grieve short game video on KZbin. Dan has 3 releases for different short game shots. Bought his book, and started practicing with it. I'm a beginner, but I have hit a couple of good shots using his techniques. Very promising.

I came to this conclusion thri buying and trading. 😂. 50 f grind 12 bounce. And 54 and 58 d grind and 12 bounce. The turf interaction for me in New England has been great. I am sure I save a stroke a side with the right wedges.

I just picked up two SM 10's , a 48* F Grind and a 54* F Grind.. Basically i re-vamped my irons and wedges all within the last two weeks.. went from Cobra OL ltdx irons, to Cobra Tour irons.. and had picked up a 60* snakebite wedge too.. well i thinned out the One length wedges i had 48-52-56, and a couple other clubs i wasn't using anymore and traded them, when i was buying the two Vokeys... and i don't feel like i had a lot of wear n tear on the wedges, but a few years ago, i was still playing some old SM4's and i always felt like i got plenty of stopping power with them on full shots and chip shots. But i noticed instantly with the new Vokey's on chip shots, my ball checked up like it would with my old Vokey's. And the thing that i always kicked myself about, was back in 2022, i got back into golf after 2 years away from golf, and i had traded my old Titleist irons ( 735cm ) and Vokey wedges, because i was looking for something new and a bit more forgiving... But i literally am right back to where i was LOL, Never again will i run afoul of Vokey and their wedges

This was a great video. I've been playing some non-Vokey wedges for the last year that are a bounce that a pro recommended...but I did not get fit for them. I have been struggling so much with them that I want to go back to Vokey wedges, BUT get fit the right way like you did here. Thanks!

I have an S gring 56° w/a steel shaft & a T grind 60° w/a graphite shaft. I love them, but imo the only thing that fixed my short game was hours of practice. It's nice that they're fit specifically for me, but u could put a 1960's Wilson dual wedge in my hand and I'm just as confident and accurate with it. I love watching ppl get fit tho, it makes me excited for them, great video!!

I bought 2 new SM9 wedges 2 months ago because my old wedges where old and had low spin numbers. I made a rookie mistake and bought them blindly only using the website as a reference. I took the 60 degree 8 bounce M-grind which I now love, but the second wedge was a mistake took the 56 degree 10 bounce S-grind and the issues I have with this wedge is on full shots. My LW covers on full shots 90 to 95 yards and the SW is supposed to cover the 100 to 110 shots on full swings but it doesn't my LW goes longer and my current Cobra Gap wedge goes 120 to 130 carry on full shots. Now I plan to get a proper fitting in a months time but was wondering how do I fix this SW gap, hopefully the fitter can fix it without me having to buy a new SW😂😅 Any suggestions 🤔 😅

Reason most people do not get fit, #1 Golf is expensive as is, to get fit is an additional cost that most just can't swing, #2 Time, I have 3 kids, to get a day to go Golf is hard as is, take another day for a fitting, impossible.
@NewNineGolf9 ай бұрын
Depending on the facility, they may waive a fit fee with the purchase of clubs. If that’s the case, the money you’d save from a fit fee you could hire a baby sitter for the 2 hours. Boom problem solved

@apaulmcdonough2170 Жыл бұрын
@@commonman317through Vokey WedgeWorks the K is also offered in a "Low Bounce" 06° version in 58° & 60° Lofts. Can be Played from Medium Firm to Soft Conditions. I Special Ordered a 58°- 06° K Grind back in the "SM 6 Days". I went to an SM9 58°- 04° T Grind as the LB K replacement this Summer due to FIRMER Local Conditions than even the LB K is truly suited for. I'm more of a Shallow Sweeper as a preference. I used a 54°- 10° V Grind (also ordered along with that K) for Rough and/or Softer Lies where I wanted to swing a little Steeper. This was replaced by a SM 9 54°- 10° S Grind - since Vokey no longer has the V Grind available in 54° Loft.

All of your normal chip shots are too far forward. I know I know many people give advice but I do come from a place of higher level experience. Place ball just in front of your right big toe. To hit low shots place ball just at your big toe. You moved the ball too far forward on normal pitch causing your hands to help which in reality hands don’t help in a pitch shot. Watch KZbin videos by Phil Michelson they are some of the better ones out there.
