great reaction :) u didnt ask for it but hears a run down of nct cuz im bored lol. So basically nct has 4 different groups atm. There is NCT 127 that has officially 10 members but only 9 perform. It started with 7, then two were added, then 1was added later. But one(winwin) stopped performing with 127 when wayv (chinese subunit) debuted, because he is chinese :) so if u ever watch older 127 songs youll notice that the number of members change. Nct U has a rotational lineup, there is no member that has been in every nct u song! they choose based on who fits the sound/concept etc. Nct dream is made up of the younger members, there are 7 of them in nct dream at the moment. It was originally supposed to be a graduation unit, once a member turned 19, they left the group. Mark turned 19 and left and a couple others were supposed to leave last year, however a lot of people didnt like that so now mark is back in dream :) then 3 brand new members were added to nct and wayv was formed. Like i said before they took winwin from 127 and kun, lucas, and ten who had originally only been in a nct U comeback. These three were not part of 127 , only in an U comeback. So those 4 plus the three new members formed wayv. Very recently, two more new members were added to the group. Both debuted in this album. Sungchan was in the misfit track and shotaro is in this one :) so there are three semi-concrete groups: 127, Wayv, and Dream, and one that changes every time:U. Also two members from 127, Taeyong and Mark and two from Wayv, Lucas and Ten are in superM :) hope this helps a little thanks again for reacting to this!

Basically NCT has 23 members currently, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, and WayV are the fixed units of nct. Which means their members don’t change but for NCT U it’s basically the unit where they mix and match different members of these three fixed units. In other words NCT U is the unit for the collaborations! which means every song that is under nct u has different members because they change the line up with every song. I recommend for you to check the fixed units as well.

Make a Wish has strong Middle Eastern vibes in the mv because they're meant to be genies granting your wish. So those kaleidoscope-you shots are meant to be like a rug pattern I think. The fire apparition part references the lamp ad does the hanging from the chandelier thing-y.

It's true that it's a rotating group of 23 members It has certain members in that group depending on what kind of skills they have for that certain song So if they needed a good dancer maybe shotaro if they need a good vocalist maybe ten if they need a good rapper maybe Sungchan so depends on what song is fitting that person's skills if it doesn't fit their skill they replace that person that can do that certain skill for the song It's confussing but you will get used to the idea

The way NCT U is doing it is not really rotational because it doesn't rotate with same members or doesn't rotate accordingly. It's more of Union or Unite, like in a certain song, certain members would perform it, it could be 2 or more depending on the music concept. It could be the same person would appear from the previous and on the current NCT U project, that's why rotational doesn't work on this way. Hence, this is the time that members from different units i.e., 127, DREAM and WayV unite and automatically this union will fall under NCT U unit.
