I think this was the first County match I ever saw. What was funny was I remember the sending off and thinking it was harsh. Funny how thirty years hasn't changed my opinion.

Love how the commentator says "he obviously moved..." Yeah, about 0.003 seconds before the ball was struck. If that was a case for a retaken penalty then I don't think I have ever seen a penalty save that didn't warrant one.

Tommy Tynan was a prolific goal scorer in the lower leagues back in the day but that penalty miss was dreadful. He was so lucky to get a second go at it to complete his hat trick. How the goalkeeper got himself sent off in all that is completely baffling.
