Today I watched a video on the dreadful state of Newport today (socially and structurally). Your video really brings it home to me how much the city has been allowed to decline. Liveried buses? Wonderful. Thank you.

❤️ Newport Still , up there every month for my haircut in Razors and good Caribbean food . I used to love going to the (in shops) back in the 90s buying the Spliffy & Eclipse clothes for the Raves , great times

Lovely trip down memory lane. Especially enjoyed seeing the inside of old Kingsway, the Octopus Bridge and the prefabs. A few old place names there which have long disappeared (and not for the better). Thanks for sharing.

We stayed in the Mercure Newport Hotel in July 2024 near the end of our Wales Coast Path walk. We really liked Newport, loved the Transporter Bridge. Greetings from Conwy, north Wales.

When Newport was an amazing vibrant place now it’s just degraded and full of immigrants and homeless people and empty shops well done the government amazing job wish I could go back to the 80s early nineties great times

The council even tried to close the train station but the people from Newport who use trains said that we need a station because a lot of people need the train station for holidays and for work

I actually feel sad watching this, i remember Newport as a kid and it was so much nicer. Why have the people in charge let it get so bad. 😢 it doesn't feel like the place i grew up in anymore..i don't recognise the faces or some of the culture 😔
