The other option I see is that the because void exists in a non-linear timeline. Then it could be somehow be someone from a future point of when Deadpool/Wolverine left the void, and it’s in the current Secret Wars timeframe. So from his POV it was minutes/hours, but from a timeline perspective it’s someone picking him up from the future for a team up in something like Secret Wars

i’m pretty sure deadpool was just replacing loki in that thor dark world scene with himself as a way of saying “move over god of stories loki, i’m the real savior here” and we’re all just reading into that scene way too much. thor has the same beard, clothes, and face cuts as he did in dark world and the shots even line up pretty closely. not saying thor won’t have a large role to play in secret wars, but i don’t think we should expect that scene to be some kind of premonition.

my thoughts exactly, it looks painfully obvious they didn't shot that scene with Thor at all just replace image of Loki with Deadpool and maybe changed few scratches on Thor to appear a bit different but I think it supposed to be just a funny addition to Deadpool&Wolverine movie and his later fixation on Thor in the rest of the movie not like super important scene in next Avengers, even more when the context of the scene is silly and almost funny as Deadpool can't die so why Thor would cry holding his wounded body (besides the fact that Thor maybe don't know that Deadpool can regenerate and can't die so that Deadpool can have funny moment but then it still feels like a waste of screen time for a serious Avenger movie and not next Deadpool movie that we know is not in making at least for now)

I like to think it’s doctor strange or Loki. It could be Loki who is recruiting all hero’s for secret wars so he goes into the void to grab gambit. Or it’s doctor strange as I think that it could be in a moment in doomsday or secret wars where the avengers are talking and Deadpool brings out the sling ring and Deadpool mentions gambit so doctor strange decides to grab the sling ring from Deadpool and open the portal up as gambit comes out.

I’m happy for Channing Tatum getting to continue playing Gambit, especially because he obviously worked really hard on his accent. It seems like it would be Wade or Logan, probably at the request of Laura, who’s one of the few characters alive that has any attachment to him. They most definitely would hide the fact that they have the sling ring from the TVA if either of them found it. It would be a very cool tie in to future films if he’s being recruited for Secret Wars. He does look happy to not be forgotten though. 😂

Common mistake. According to Loki and What If...?, infinity stones still work in other universes. They just don't work within the TVA because there are active dampeners preventing the usage of magic and powers and the organization itself exists outside of time and space. Technically even in Endgame, the stones obtained during the Time Heist became multiversal stones for that short period they were used outside their original timelines.

I find it interesting that most people assume that it was a Dr. Strange Variant that was killed by Cassandra. Sling rings are not unique equipment to Strange, and from things like the Loki series, we know there are dozens upon dozens of realities where shenanigans happened with the Infinity Stones (and how they have no power in the TVA, and people use them for paperweights). So the sorcerer that was killed by Cassandra could have been any one of the dozens we've seen (if you count all of the ones in the big battle from Multiverse of Madness), or even a variant of the Ancient One herself - who has a similar build to Cassandra and would have made it easy to 'wear'.

Remember that the sparkle circles aren’t restricted to sling rings, but that depends on how cannon you see Agents Of Shield. Robbie Reyes’ ghost rider could open a portal by whipping his chain around, which he does once in the series. Not saying it’s Ghost rider per se, but don’t leave him out!

based on the reflection on gambit's helmet it could be ghost rider. remember that in agents of shield robbie used his chain to open portals. its possible that other ghost riders have the sling ring ability with their chains.
