I don't know if it was ever a possibility, but it would have been neat if Shadwell's actor was intended to play Furfur originally. I like the idea of Tracy/Shax being double paired with Shadwell/Furfur. Imagine the fanfic! "We come together in every life, but we're also always some kind of ridiculous!"

I saw some of the pictures of Michael from the recent Comic Con. My fave was of someone dressed as Shax in the magenta suit (back to the camera) with Michael being his charming smiley self. I swear, that man has more charisma then is safe for one person to contain without exploding! I rather have Michael McKean play a new character, if he is coming back. I wasn't a fan of Shadwell.

I think they could bring the OG characters back, but I wonder if it would be too obvious? Given Adam can reset things, is it a bit deus ex machina to bring him back to reset the second coming. Still he is out there with his powers still. It's been snowy and stormy in Britain and especially Scotland, I wonder if that would affect filming, although I guess it can be set in any season. Love that sweater!

@@ericamacs3875 the "Tadfield is perfect" thing is just from the first eleven years of his life. I just checked the book and it still seems pretty ambiguous what exactly he did, but the show clarifies that he made it so Satan was never his dad, which to me implies that he wouldn't be the Antichrist, either (though I could be wrong). At the very least, he decides not to use those powers again because he recognizes that he would become addicted to it. And he doesn't want to be responsible for so much. So my guess is, he put mostly everything back to the way it was and just made a few small changes that he wanted (like making it so Warlock and Greasy Johnson meet each other, and giving Aziraphale extra books) and then called it good. As for my previous comment, I was wrong. Adam made the hole in the hedge, not Dog. But that's the last time he uses his powers in the book canon. Tl;dr you're possibly right, Adam may or may not still have his powers.

Thanks for the update! So encouraging to get good news after some uncertain months! I guess that Michael McKean will come back as a new character because that seems to be the theme for the human characters (Maggie, Nina, Tracey). I would love to see him play someone new for season three. I like the slot at the end talking about Aziraphale's use of forgiveness - is this part of a larger video???

I think it would be great if they could bring back one or two characters or actors from S1. I don't think they should more than one or two new characters for the finale. It might make sense for Shadwell to return but McKeon could certainly play another character. 🤞

Why can't Americans learn to pronounce British place names correctly? Glasgow is pronounced "glas-go" to rhyme with show not "glas-gow" to rhyme with cow 😂 I don't mean to be pedantic but it happens on every American show/video that mentions the UK, and I find it very irritating and distracting. It's hard to take someone seriously when they make such basic errors
