I've ended up recording the last two with OBS, I should probably share them somewhere. Dear Brother is a definite purchase for me, I hope I like it, I haven't seen many shoujo melodrama's.

@@BlaizeV It does a good job of capturing the teenage life of an affluent Japanese girl in the 80s with heaps of melodrama with a touch of Dezaki :D

@@BlaizeVThis might be a long shot, but do you still have those OBS recordings/did you post them anywhere? I have everything from early 2022 onward (including the one that got their twitch banned lol). Was trying to fill ones I was missing.

7 episodes missing I believe was reduced from last time (I think it was larger than that last time, so that was a pleasant surprise.) also I admit I was stunned by a lot of this stuff.

Yeah you're right. Last time it was 9 episodes so two more episode have been sourced since.

Dear Brother is probably going to sell very well, FOMO is real. I pre-ordered mine as soon as it was up, companies may realize this will lead to more sales and we might see it more often. (similar to limited run games, imagine if we had that for anime) Interesting to see discotek get Lady Oscar instead of Nozumi releasing the blu-ray. I wonder why they didn't re-license it. Good show, I'm waiting for a sale before I buy it atm.

Dezaki was hands down my favourite anime director.

I love his work on the Black Jack OVAs and the early Lupin TV specials. The only TV series of his I've watched are Hakugei and Ultraviolet. I didn't enjoy the latter much at all but the former was pretty good. I really must get to watching his more famous works soon. ROV, Cobra, Dear Brother and Remi are big holes in my anime viewing history.
