Great update. My friends living in Sarracco and Santa Ponsa noted the basic price rises. I certainly noted the delays but with increased tourism figures it is inevitable. We just have to accept it unfortunately.

When we first came to Mallorca, delays were the norm, but I think we have become used to punctuality in recent years.

Formentor lighthouse: the best way is on a bicycle. I did the route last May before the car restrictions started. We we reach the lighthouse at 10am , the car park was full with a queue and we saw about 30 car coming out with the last km so I can only imaging the gridlock. It wasn’t fun for anyone in a car. I’m not a radical pro cyclist/anti car type, but for everyone’s safety, sanity plus care for the environment, cars should be restricted during the off season too. Either a one out or one in barrier or a 20km speed limit/no overtaking restriction. The same could be said for Sa Colabra.

Hope your weather predictions are wrong, but I suspect they are not! We arrive on the 19th for 11 nights - however it'll be a change of scenery at least. Good to see you have a new pet - the fly - or should that be pest!!

It was a fine for speeding. 100€, reduced to 50 for prompt payment.

spain gdp up 2.5per cent. the eu needs to scrap this new paper work for next year.

There are no firm dates on the ETIAS yet and it is an UU thing, so Spain can't opt out. The UK are planning to set up their own version of it.
