arirang, your news readers in your different shows keep on talking praises about the "apt" song by blackpink rose & bruno mars. so why is there no backlash about the fact that a korean k-pop singer is collaborating with bruno mars, who is widely known to have been arrested for cocaine use and given a plea deal? is there a double standard operating here? k-media publicly crucified and drove lee sunkyun to suicide for alleged drug use even when numerous drug tests turned out negative. when any other k-pop artist collaborates with a foreign artist with the slightest hint of scandal, k-media attacks the k-pop artist -- and there are numerous examples of this. so why is blackpink rose exempt from criticism for collaborating with an arrested drug user? because bruno mars is one of the biggest music superstars in the world? because bruno mars provided the star power for the song to crossover success worldwide? or are k-media and koreans in general just plain hypocrites?
