So excited to see this Deluxe Phoenix! Selfishly I want it to be Excalibur Rachel with some kind of attachable articulated Phoenix Force. I do think we need a green Phoenix update like the pinless Dark Phoenix on retro card, but that can be the next time they revisit Retro Cards! This Rachel could give us multiple heads and if we buy a few sets we gain Phoenix Forces for the Jean Phoenix figures!

We were promised one back when Hasbro took the wave and they didn’t deliver on it. It was one of Scott’s best suits. Rachael is still top priority then we get Scott’s Phoenix crew with a colossus as Phoenix baf.

Phoenix could be the long requested and missing character Rachel and the display base can be used with Jean. Rachel as a deluxe makes sense due to the spikes in her costume. But I concede Hasbro is more apt to do another Jean. Eddie Brock’s Son Dylan as Venom could be another Venom reuse but with a twist as he has had some unique symbol designs and different colors too. That Strange Tales leak of yours is so fascinating. I mean we had a hodgepodge wave in Zabu. This wave could be just about anything. It’s interesting.

The pros to having a leaked list - We get to figure out what we want and don't want. Figure out a decent budget. Temper expectations or be hyped. The cons to having a leaked list - The people who are working hard on these figures (I'm talking about the employees, not the company. You can dislike Hasbro or not, I really don't care) for people to enjoy, but suddenly that element of surprise is entirely ruined. Sure, the costume choices are still cool, but the fact we at least know at some point a specific character will be dropped eventually sucks at least some of the excitement out of the reveal itself. Not speaking from my own experience, just some collectors that I've met over the years.

For me, I get excited when a rektangular leak drops, then excited again when the reveal happens, and excited a third time when it arrives and goes on my shelf. I think it enhances the hype rather than take away from it. Anyway you didn’t ask for my opinion lol. I think what you said makes sense though. Just depends on how you collect.

Yep green costume Jean grey was in the first or second wave of the new new Hasbro x-men legends. I’d bet on Rachel Summers being the phoenix that’s coming given some things that have been reported around some teams being finished this year and also I think one of the British collectors who has a KZbin channel said they received a strong hint that the Excalibur roster would be finished this year.

That Green Goblin pumpkin bomb replica reminds me that I would really love for Hasbro to do an updated, pinless classic Comic Green Goblin, on something like the Vulcan body (with some scaled arms and legs). If Jack O'Lantern, a C-List Spidey villain at best can have that much love and care put into him, why can't Spidey's big arch nemesis? I just want Comic Goblin to get the same deluxe treatment as NWH Goblin.
