Right?! That had to have taken an extreme amount of energy and strength to physically be able to even do that. He was frenzied obviously. I went to high school with a now man who murdered a woman over a $200 computer. He stabbed her 84 times in the face and head and killed her dog. I tried to imitate the stabbing motions that many times and that’s a work out itself let alone having resistance into the body and through bone. You’re right. He should never be let out. Someone like that doesn’t ever get better. Even a kid.

Exactly. I have a 12 year old son who has much less freedom than I did as a young girl, and so much of that is because of social media bringing awareness to how many truly awful things happen in our society. I grew up in the 80s, and the only crimes you'd really hear about were the really heinous ones, like this. I recently heard a story about a situation almost exactly like this. And the daughter came forward years later after her father passed away, and has said that she believes her father ended up killing the son. Apparently there was a huge incident in which both the father and the mother were violently attacked, and the mother was actually a very good boxer previously, and apparently she let all the years of anger out on him, and he was beaten pretty badly. And I don't remember the specific details, but he lived through that beating, but allegedly the father ended up leaving with him one day, and the father was the only one to come back home. She never heard from her brother again. I can't imagine the intense internal struggle that must be overcome in such circumstances... Much respect

When the reporter said 49 of the stab wounds were defensive, my heart flipped over. The amount of horror and terror that poor girl must have felt trying to fight for her life during those blows, I can’t even begin to imagine. That’s not just murder, that’s like torture. Of course her death is tragic and awful no matter what but it chills me to think how much she had to go through before the final killing blow. Awful. So awful! Her poor family. I think people always hope death was swift in any situation, nevermind homicide, but now they know , it in fact, wasn’t for her. That has to torture them as well. For him to kill her so brutally, this kid is a monster. Whatever makes someone innately human, is broken in him. He needs to never, ever be free again.

That was where I thought I was gonna be sick too. While it's important in the trial, while evidence needs to be shown, who got the hellish job of telling that to her ~parents~. Nah, 9 times out of 10 cases like this one are that the victim angered or goaded the perpetrator and they lost their life for it. When we say "So what are you going to do, kill me?" to another person we say it in the knowledge that no one in their right mind would actually do it, except a psychopath will call your bluff every time and psychopaths are everywhere - you pass 1 or 2 in the street every day. My guess is they argued about something, anything, and she has simply told him he didn't have the guts to touch her and his deranged psyche has sought to teach her that this is incorrect. His defiance since being arrested is testament to this, in his mind he's going to prison for a very long time but the person who mocked him got the smile wiped off their face and that makes it worth it. Psychopaths don't function like regular people, they don't fear repercussions and they value action, and since they are perfectly capable of living in society you will interact with a few of them during your life time. This is why you should be careful how you interact with people because if you challenge a psychopath they will analyse their options and answer you immediately. Also just to illustrate how rampant mental illness is in society there will eventually be a bunch of comments below accusing me of either defending Aiden or blaming Tristyn despite the fact I haven't done either. That's bias at work.

This 14 year old was 100% sane at the time he committed the crime. Him almost crying in court is showing remorse, thus ruling out insanity.
@bazzerk92023 жыл бұрын
I mean I personally feel he has some sort of insanity in him regardless if he claims it or not or if he has any documented history... 114 times? Just think about how many times he stabbed her. Wore himself out. Like a pure demon. It’s crazy to imagine vs ur typical stabbing.

@monetdirige13563 жыл бұрын
my thing is, many many times you see things like this then they claim their not fit for trial due to them not being mentally stable enough. like okay just because you’re claiming you’re not “fully mentally together”, investigators can still prove otherwise with medical check ups or test. Plus, so many people assume that if your not mentally stable, you have a lesser sentence or serve no jail sentence at all. which is dumb to think in the first place because if you think committing a crime and blaming it on your mental state, they’re gonna throw you in a psychiatric ward, lol. So my point exactly is, if he claims he’s not mentally fit or pulls some sort of mental card on this, he doesn’t know what he’s getting into. Do I think he’s insane? No. But do I think he’s somewhat of a sociopath? Maybe.

@@dejacavu6259 with Lori Vallow, she was deemed not competent as of right now. Which is completely different from being “incompetent at the time of the crime”. All it means is that she may not understand the charges/evidence against her, the roles of each person during the court process (prosecutor, defense, etc), or she can’t provide assistance to her defense team. This does not mean she walks free and it doesn’t mean the charges are dropped. It means that the trial and everything else will proceed once she is deemed competent or until the state challenges the finding (which they are currently trying to do). If the judge disagreed and let it go, her team could use that as a reason to appeal.
