You don't seem to have a clue about Zimbabwe's history. China (and of course Russia) was the major contributor of arms used in the war of liberation of Zimbabwe. Relations go long back.

Well, the Chinese funded the war to liberate Zimbabwe, so what was the price? They never benefitted for the first 20 years of independence, only now that the West have sanctions did Zimbabwe start to "Look East" again. So, any logical mind can work out who is a friend in need and deed.

@krukanda, a famous historian, Ph.d Henry Clark, stated that Africa has no friends. As I stated, the Europeans started out the same way. Please do not get me wrong, I do have great respect for Chinese culture, that being written, whenever a people go into a partnership well below of a partner, it is not assured that the partner with the majority of the power will one day flip the script so to speak. I hope I am wrong. However look how China treated African people during the COVID pandemic. Look how the Arabs told the the Nigerians to get out of, I believe it was Saudi Arabia recently. Look at how the Indian government asked the African people to leave their country recently. Look at how the Ukraine dealt with the African students when the war broke out with Russia. The African students had walk through the woods with some freezing to death. We as black people tend be very gullible. Look at how some Chinese people treats African people in your own continent. All I am saying they motives that may be hidden just as the fabled Trojan Horse. Lastly I viewed a Chinese man stating that the ancient Egyptians were not black, he stated they were Chinese. Please be aware and cautious.
