Body camera video from last year appears to show White County's former sheriff telling deputies to lie about what happened following a long pursuit.

He is still no better. He enforces unconstitutional firearms laws daily. Just like in this case,so what if the man had a weapon? Every free citizen has the right to bear whatever arms they choose. If your job is too dangerous for people to exercise their rights in front of you,then maybe their is a good reason why your job is forbidden by the constitution.

Freedom Inc. false. Felons and anyone with a violent criminal history cannot purchase whatever weapon they chose. Even then, the Supreme Court ruled it was constitutional to have limits on the arms that can be purchased such as fully automatic weapons.

Business as usual. First responders help bad cops make up lies to protect them. Synchronized and doctors at ER follow the lead. Do you know what happens when cops abandon illegal false arrest of suspect battered and dumped at the local ER. THE DOCTOR abuses the unresponsive patient stuffing amonia tablets in his nostrils and brags how they usually sit right up when he does this. That signals them that they are now accessories and must maintain the false narrative or they too become criminal elements to the false arrest and torture of an innocent unresponsive patient who doctor want to punish for whatever reason.

@heatherrrenea5 жыл бұрын
Except he actually turned his camera off and the video we watched came from the deputy that “had” attempted to turn his off but failed to properly turn it off. Meaning both seemed complicit and the only reason this was captured was because the one didn’t operate his camera properly. As for the one writing the report correctly idk maybe he decided later against it or maybe they realized the one camera wasn’t off and decided he’d better cover his tail but either way I would not feel anyone who would appear to be so complicit in such illegal activities should have a place in such a position. That is the reason we have the issues now is because of being complicit not deciding to stand for what is right and follow the law but rather just go along with what they’re told. We need real men with backbones and one of those guys should have stated directly to him that NO that is not what happened and I will not be any part of that.

This video is straight out of one of those movies from the 80's and 90's where sheriffs were the law and nobody dared to question them. They were always older, balding men, dumb, prejudiced, jaded, lazy, overweight, commanding obedience from their underlings and feared by everyone because their willingness to lie was well known. Their orders were followed without question, but then there was always that one officer who rebelled against made up evidence used to send an innocent person to jail. Just imagine how many times this sheriff lied and how much damage he did during his time as a law enforcement officer. His arrogance shows in his body language and his quick, sideways glances at his underlings. There was no doubt in his mind that they would all follow his orders and lie because he said so.

No, he’s not “an upstanding officer,” he’s an officer doing his job like he’s supposed to be making credible reports. When did doing ur job and not being corrupt make u extraordinary??
@loz9114 жыл бұрын
When so many more have turned on citizens and will lie for one another, then that makes it an extraordinary event to hear the truth from even just one. PEACE!
@aussiemma84264 жыл бұрын
Jessica Stern he actually fits the term of “ an upstanding officer “ exactly to its definition. The sheriff told the guy to break the law by falsifying a police report, the cop denied and in turn upheld the law thus making him “upstanding”
@Cramblit4 жыл бұрын
"upstanding" and "extraordinary" are two very different things.. If you do your job, and do your job well that's upstanding. It means you're doing it 100% correctly, even when pressured not too. VERY FEW people can do that, and I'll bet you 90% of the people slamming police officers would of caved in had they been in that position... I love the White Knights and "holier than thou art" fucking two faced morons on the internet, talking shit like they're like the next coming of christ.. yet I'll bet you a very high majority of them are just as corrupt and fucked up as the police they love to bash..

Anyone that has a questionable arrest in that county that the sheriff was involved with in any way has a good case for appeal on the fact that the sheriff was less than honest and known to change stories.

So, can I assume the less money spent on car repair means more budgeted money in the Sherriff's pocket? This seems very odd, "risk your life or take a life before you damage a vehicle... There is money involved with the Sherriff. Saving money on Insurance that went into the Sherriff's pocket?

That *was* Alabama, and it was the county prison food budget from which the Sheriff could pocket savings.

Very pleased that Sgt. Theiss stood by the oath that he took when sworn in as a Tennessee peace officer. Glad that the s.o.b. "sheriff" no longer holds the office the he besmirched with his lies. If he hasn't been locked up, he should be. Just trash with a badge.

So Shoup is basically allowed to give officers illegal orders and face nothing. Allowed to retire or resign and keep his retirement and or pension. They got this act of deception and I bet the countywoukd like to knowhow many more of this type of order was never reported. This is the norm for law enforcement and not the exception!!!!! 😢😢😢

More deputies need to stand up and do the right thing, especially in the face of a rouge sheriff. Good on the the one deputy who didn’t compromise his integrity for the sake of the Sheriff. Ever one of his colleagues who didn’t report accurately on their report should be terminated and never allowed to be employed as a police or deputy anywhere. Ever.

Robert Ireland, uh you might wanna watch that again. Looks more like he’s complicit with breaking the law along with his boss because he “did” turn off his camera and even stated that to the other one and the other one was also complicit because he tried to turn his camera off but failed to properly turn it off and the only read this came out was because the one didn’t work his camera properly. As for his report it is most likely he found out his partner didn’t turn his camera off properly and decided to cover his tell. If commending someone for being complicit in breaking the law especially those sworn to uphold it is your thing then go right ahead but looks like crooks in the video. Just sayin.
