Soddy-Daisy officers suspended over discrepancies in IA report related to homicide case

The day after they testified in the case of a former Hamilton County EMT convicted of vehicular homicide, 2 Soddy-Daisy Police officers were suspended.
The city manager tells us they are under investigation due to discrepancies related to an IA report involving another officer who was a witness in the case.
But their attorney says differently.

The bravest cops of all are the ones (like these two) who keep their integrity and tell the truth even when they know they’ll likely be retaliated against by their own department. They should be celebrated, not ostracized. These kinds of officers should be protected at all cost.

The only job where you’re encouraged to lie to both your victims and real victims and each other. Lies under penalty of perjury are also encouraged but not publicly. Lying under oath on the witness stand gets a slap on the back and a promotion. It’s absolutely shameful.
