Good that you have these views, they are correct. I'm sorry but many like your father have believed the concept "caste" in my religion, the caste defined was based on the actions of an individual, that being said there was never a priority order of these castes. All of them work together as a society, for the society. People will rebuttal that the caste has well defined by saying that Shudras represent feet of Lord Vishnu but the Lord Vishnu so mentioned, lies on the Seshnaag, where all his body parts are on equal level.
