As Pride month begins June 1, some Target stores and other retailers won’t be displaying LGBTQ+ merchandise. Pink Media President Matt Skallerud tells “On Balance” that Target and Bud Light experienced a “double boycott” last year: Opponents stayed away to protest the firms’ pro-gay rights stands, then the LGBTQ+ community boycotted them for dialing back their Pride displays.

If you feel that religion has been a political issue... and you're right to think that.... and you don't like the effect it's having, wouldn't you push back against it? It's the same thing for people like myself who find the LGBT agenda radical and dangerous. As for what's right or wrong, good or bad, positive or negative, that all depends on where you happen to fall on a particular issue; on your perspective. There are lots of people who push a religious agenda because they come from a group that was oppressed at some point in the past. Local small town Walmart Marketplace had a rainbow (had the actual 7 colors of a real rainbow, not the 6 Pride flag colors) beack towel. That was it. I was so disappointed because I've found all kinds of Pride goodies in the 2 cities I've shopped at Walmart. I happen to LOVE those bright colors so I'll buy rainbow stuff regardless. Joann usually has Pride merch, too. Not too $$$ if on sale.
