On July 30, 1993, eleven months before the famous double murder, Ron Goldman's friend Brett Cantor was killed with a knife in a manner identical to Ron and Nicole: from behind and across the throat and stabbed repeatedly on the arms and chest. Michael Nigg, a waiter at the Mezzaluna Trattoria in Brentwood.(Its location on San Vicente Boulevard is now a Peet's Coffee and Tea shop.) (where Ron Goldman was also a waiter) was shot in the head and killed. Another Mezzaluna waiter barely survived a car bombing. Many working at Mezzaluna were involved with the Mafia and/or the drug trade. Photos of Nicole with known criminals of the drug trade in a hot tub and on a bed were shown on the news. Simpson said he was upset when he saw his children associated with the drug scene with which Nicole had apparently become involved. Barry Hoestler, a private investigator hired for the Simpson case by llRobert Shapiro, said Nicole talked about the idea of opening a restaurant with Ron Goldman as her partner, and financing it with cocaine profits. Hoestler said Nicole and her friends were "over their heads with some dope dealers".

Speak for yourself. I don't think he did it. The case against him was actually weak, which is why he was acquitted. Now does that mean he was not involved, no, but do I think he physically did it, no. There are multiple reasons that make me think he did not do it. Some of those reasons are, all the blood found on his property had EDTA, and none of the other blood did. EDTA is the chemical they use in blood vials, which tells anybody the blood came from a vile. There was a sock in his room that had an identical blood stain on the top and bottom, which would be impossible with the sock on a foot, and clearly points to somebody pouring the blood on it. Mark Furman answered every single question under oath, except one. That question was did you or any other detective that you know of plant evidence in this case and he plead the 5th. Goldman was a martial arts expert, and they are 100% sure he landed multiple blows on the killer, and they even suspect he landed multiple upkicks. So less than 24 hours after the murders they decided that the person that did it would have facial injuries, and may have cracked or broke ribs, because upkicks easily break ribs, So here comes OJ in with zero marks on his face or body. The lead detective has said several times on video that the biggest shock in the entire case was OJ walking in with no marks on him, and he says it is the one thing they cannot explain. Then during the trial we find out that right before she was killed a hitman for a big time dealer was arrested, and they literally found a hit list on him, and who's name was on it, Nicole's name. Apparently she was buying large quantities and not paying. So if her name is on one hitlist, then it is clear she was living reckless, and had people that wanted her dead. Then you have the serial killer Glen Rogers who confessed to killing her, and he worked for her and OJ. Nonetheless, there are huge doubts that he did it himself, and the case against was very weak. Just people saying oh they had all this evidence, with no context sounds great, but once you look at the actual evidence is starts to fall apart.

@@chrisgullett4332 Do you think this is a movie lol. He landed up kicks haha? Huh? He was being attacked with a knife. He had defensive wounds on his hands like cuts and bruising. Obviously he put his hands up to defend himself. And Furhman plead the fifth to every question when put back in the stand.
@brianforke9976
@brianforke9976 2 ай бұрын
What lead detective said this? He had a cut on his left hand? The same hand the killer was bleeding from. How about the shoe prints? Those were rare shoes that he owned and the exact same size. How about the Bronco not being there at 10:22 when Allen Park arrived? Which destroys his Alibi. The interrogation after arriving back to LA that was enough to incriminate him alone. The Bronco chase? Why run if you’re innocent? They didn’t even need the blood, evidence alone could convict him. There is no evidence of anybody wanting her dead or of Glenn Rogers being there, none. That is all speculation, just like the cops planting all this stuff. The first officer on the scene well before Fuhrman arrived only seen one glove, as did 14 other police officers, some of those also before Fuhrman arrived. The Civil Trial he was found guilty, what was the big difference? He had to testify and it didn’t go well. There is a reason he didn’t at the trial

I think it is ridiculous to think he was innocent. The question is did the prosecution prove their case because that's all that matters? So you can be guilty and if the prosecution can't prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt, you get found not guilty. He lost the civil trial because it's a different burden of proof. It is based on the preponderance of the evidence.

Here's the question that has stuck with me from the beginning; The famous line, If the glove don't fit, you must convict"... When the defense was making a big deal out of the glove being too small, why didn't the prosecution bring in a leather expert to explain that leather shrinks when wet... thinking blood soaked would be wet... Better yet.. Chris Darden should've never had OJ try it on in the first place! But it didn't matter. The case was lost when Gil Garcetti made the decision to hold the trial downtown instead of Santa Monica after the Rodney King debacle. That jury was NEVER going to convict. They could've shown a video of OJ killing Ron and Nicole and they still would've come back with a Not Guilty verdict.

💯 I wish they would have his brain donated and checked for CTE. Maybe this would help everyone understand how OJ ended up doing what he did. OJ Simpson took the book deal, against legal advice, because he had gotten sued and needed money. He was paid just so the publisher could use his name, and he was ordered not to interfere with the writing of the book. He didn't actually write the book. The man in this video, Pablo Fenjves, was the one who actually wrote the book. Pablo Fenjves was a trial witness for the prosecution, so that means he was neither a friend or ally of OJ, and he wrote a bunch of nonsense in the book accordingly.

@@naithngr81-jh2bb Even if you're right, that kind of book deal just screams crazy. It's the kind of madness that makes fleeing to another country without a plan look like the sane option. Concerning the title of the book, it’s not just that the “If” is in small letters and the “I did it” is in bigger letters; it’s the fact that it then says “Confessions of the killer”. 🤦🏻‍♀️ If you’re trying to make a book sound hypothetical, you failed horribly. This was him trying to get the murders off of his chest….”hypothetically”.

Long story short, the black community was not thinking straight - because the justice system had failed them again, and again, and again. They had a chance to save a man from their community, after decades of watching their community members get convicted from petty crimes all the way to first-degree murder, only to be sentenced to fates worse than death that made the murders look tame in comparison, and they took it. Sadly, it turns out that OJ was the exact same kind of asshole as the ones that screwed them over.
