EXACTLY. We finally get LAPD on video, beating Rodney King to the white meat, just like we said they had done for years and years and the cops walked? Black people didn't care about OJ, he pretended like he was white during the entire Civil Rights struggle but the fact that a black man could kill white people and walk, the same way so many whites have walked throughout American history after killing black people was all black folks wanted. It was the fork in the eye that black folks felt was a payback for years of abuse at the hands of whites. Anyone with half a brain could figure this out. Let us also not for about the young black child who was killed by that Korean lady who did NO JAIL TIME, during this same time. That was just to much for black folks and they tried to burn L.A. to the ground because of it.

If Nicole and Ron had both been black, would there have been cheering at the verdict? Think about that. If it was the same story, but OJ's first wife, Marguerite Whitley and a black waiter/friend of hers, I'll bet the optics and focus would have been very different. Point is, regardless of race, a beautiful mother of two, who had been beaten and abused for years and a totally innocent man were literally slaughtered. Doesn't matter what the verdict is - you don't cheer like you're at the SuperBowl. Sad they made this about race when it was actually about women, domestic violence and celebrity/wealth.

@@salj.5459 There's no definitive proof that he was ever "set up" when those events took place. He by his own admission stated to the judge "I was just trying to get my stuff back" during sentencing. That alone indicates that he made a conscious decision to go to Las Vegas and rob the memorabilia dealers he alleged had his stuff while in the possession of a firearm. The ironic thing is O.J. didn't have to go to Las Vegas to stop the auction & retrieve his property. His attorneys could've filed for an injunction. A judge's intervention could've made a visit moot

I love the OJ trial because it was a grand example of how biased people are on each side. I noticed the Asian woman who said she was happy he was not guilty. @Kristin2885

The evidence wasn't questionable beyond a reasonable doubt when you took into account the totality of everything presented. It wasn't even questionable to the jury. They'd made up their mind before the trial was half over. Took half an hour to come up with a decision after a year's worth of evidence was presented. Basically they just went into a room, took a vote and signed the paperwork. Zero intelligent deliberation.

If you were born after 1980, you shouldnt even comment about this case or the events that happened with the OJ case and the few years before the murders- you wouldnt really be able to recall Rodney King, the LA riots-which caused rioting in many other cities in US in mostly black communities. This case , unfortunately was made about race from the get go. OJ did nothing for his own community, his own ppl rhat stood behind him and got him acquitted of double murder. With all the evidence that was presented, any other race, any other person would have been foumd guilty- it would have been an open/close case...google any case since with similarities such as double murders regardless of race with dna evidence and look at the conviction. And then OJ Simpson happened right after that!!! The black community was already dealing with racism over Rodney King!!! So when OJ Simpson got aquitted, it made the black community FEEL GOOD that something GOOD was happening to a black person!!! EVEN though we ALL KNEW OJ Simpson was guilty as sin, it still sent a message to the black community that something GOOD was happening to a black person!!! Things were different back then because the Rodney King case happened shortly before OJ Simpson!!! Those two cases were back to back!!!
