On March 01, 1959, Chinese asked Dalai Lama to attend a theatrical performance at Military Headquarters outside Lhasa. The date was extended to March 10 but Dalai Lama got suspicious and turned down the request. Later it was found out that the Chinese wanted to arrest him. Soon after, Dalai Lama left his palace and fled....

@Element Tibet is part of China ,Tibet is the home to 6 million tibetan Chinese, nobody occupied it .dalailama always can come back ,but he refused ,China welcome the tibetan exiles in India can all come back ,but they refused !can you imagine ? can you find such high proud refugees in the world ? but dalailama is 87 years old ,he can change into a boy come back at any time ,all the chaos will disappear .it is the better that India don't make more problems here ,for India will get revenge from China ,at 1959 India was better than China ,but now China is competing for No1 in the world with that big guy .let this issue die in the history ,let us all forget it ,it is better for India or for China for us .
