I'll give you 65 places to see and things to do in the four-island Hawaii travel guide. "How many islands should I visit?" It's the question all first-time visitors to Hawaii ask. And to answer it, you need know what you can see and do on each of the four islands most tourists see. And that's what I hope to do with this in-depth look at O'ahu, the Big Island, Maui and Kauai. Each island offers something different. These are my experiences. My Hawaii. Yours will be different. But I hope to give you a better idea of where you can go and and what you can do in this spectacular Pacific paradise.

Great video tour of all 4 islands!! I've been to Hawaii 7 times since my first back in 1975, and going again this Dec to celebrate my 72nd birthday! Got an Airbnb at Islander on the Beach this time as I've usually stayed at Kauai Shores and agree you can't beat the sunrises and the Lava Lava! So sad about Lahaina! I'd stayed at the Pioneer Inn and heartbreaking to see it as ashes. Going to visit all 4 islands over my 14 nights. Happy to say that you pointed out some new places for me to visit this trip!!

I'm so glad it's helpful. I did three islands back in 22. I love being there long enough to island hop. Islander on the Beach was the perfect place for me. And Lava Lava is my dream beachside dining destination. I went to Tahiti/Moorea in February of this year. So similar to Hawaii in culture and history with spectacular otherworldly beauty, but Hawaii really does have it all. I hope you have a great time celebrating 72. Awesome overview of the islands, so helpful to plan our trip. Can you link the airbnb you used in Oahu near the zoo ?

Yes. There are usually several options in that same building. www.airbnb.com/rooms/23000806?source_impression_id=p3_1721714409_P36VxWmOVisKQBhi . It's a hotel/condo building. I usually book through airbnb, but you can book via the hotel website too: www.waikikigrandhotel.com/ . And there's a hotel--the Park Shore--next to it, closer to the beach, that might have full ocean views.
