I was talkin to a guy today who works part time and gets all the benefits of the dole - I said to him its not fair, his answer - "thats your fault for working". O'Leary is right and the proof that there are jobs out there is that 11,000 people come into the country every year and get work.

Michael O'Leary is a smart business man but it would be pure savagery if he were to run the country. Working hours would increase for everyone, which is linked to the overall unhappiness of a populace. He would raise taxes and slash social benefits. He would be a big friend of corporate elites and not ordinary people. His answer to getting people back to work was to low taxes on airlines to promote tourism as a solution to our massive unemployment post crash. How convenient it's an idea which lines his pocket.

The same redundant questions that are asked by every interviewer on every station or medium which are easily batted back by an excellent and affable businessman. All most people want is a cheap way of getting to their destination and that is what they offer...the interview on BBC with Kirsty(??) is embarrassing, trying to get as many of the same questions into the small slot and don't let him answer them because he has an easy answer for all of the verbal rubbish they ask him

Such a shame he doesn't have any answers for ordinary people who get fucked by him. Like when their website is crashing for several days people cant print boardpass and Ryanair is charging them 50e per every ticket. How much money is that? And for what? Sure he is excellent businessman when he can scam people left and right and because of his contacts and wealth nobody can do anything to him.

Hes right and hes wrong, his way means going back to effectively the dark ages of slavery with his methods. the problem is the people working under him do not have access to every service he has and do not have control of their time to the extent he has. If he has to drop out of the game its no big deal, but if someone with kids & a morgage has to be sacked as he said its a different set of choices the face.
