An alligator will “See you later!” A crocodile will see you “In a while.” That’s how you tell the difference between the two.

I live down here and visit Everglades very often. I rarely see this park get any love from outsiders so thank you for enjoying and sharing. You guys seemed to have learned a lot and appreciated what our park has to offer. Again, thank you from an Everglades junky! :-)

I love this video. Another great adventure I got to see. This was fun. Even learning about the crocodiles and gators. While you were seeing pine trees did you see pine cones? And did you smell pine? I love the smell of pine. Katelyn messing with Howard. That was funny. Howard did you say your prayers before you got into the kayak? Lol! You both did a great job kayaking. Did you have kayaking? Katelyn there was no food! Lol! Ir dud I miss it? Lol! Just kidding! I love when you do the food segments. This was a great video. The boats to camp in were cool. And then tent one too. Houseboats look fun. Thank you so much for this video. Looking forward to seeing nexts weeks in The Keys. That sounds fun. Can’t wait. Have a great week. Love you guys!🤗

Another great adventure. I loved the editing. Very enjoyable way to start my week, the Monday mornings are a treat thanks to you. Those manatees were indeed very active. Surprised me as well. So I looked them up. In spring and summer when found in shallow water, thrashing = mating! Keep clear is the message. 😂! Loved the variety of hospitality options. By the way, nearly 20k subscribers, 👍! You offer great footage, fabulous facts and figures and enjoyable entertainment. No wonder you are growing as a channel. 🍾🥂 👍🎥🌷🙋♀️ safe travels.

We saw a manatee when we were on Marathon, but it was just nibbling on greenery - no rolling around like the ones you saw! Loved this one 😎

Great Video! I always look forward to watching your next destination videos! I live in Naples and visited Everglades NP about 3 months ago. And I always stop at Robert Is Here for those delicious milkshakes!! I stayed in my Navion at Long Pine Key Campground and drove all the way to Flamingo and hiked at most of the trails that you hiked.

@@NewstateNomads In my 90s so my traveling is virtual now! Especially enjoyed your Mexican videos. I spent many summers in Taxco (you should get there when you return to Mexico) and agree, the people are delightful. Made many Taxco friends.

That is so awesome to hear! We really loved Mexico and can't wait to return one day. We had hoped to explore more, but then had to go into lockdown. So glad you're loving the videos. That's awesome that you found us and we're so glad we can help you virtually travel! ♥️

When you enter the park it was a 2 Hour Dr. to the campground but doesn’t the endless flatness of it depress you? Oh queen of safety did you take a stun gun or a shotgun every time you went walking the dogs? And Howard, your first time kayaking and you had to do it in alligator infested waters? I am constantly surprised at your ever-changing ever improving video between the angles and everything else. But another great job I’m truly addicted to the nomads! ✊🏼🐊🐊

Pre-Covid, my wife Susan and I were making regular February/March visits to the Everglades. Wonderful park! Thanks for bringing back some great memories!

Is it better during that time of year? I am going towards the end of Feb. Around the 20th. Am hoping its beautiful.
@woodycarr Жыл бұрын
@@carieevans3787 February is part of the dry season in ENP. So no bugs, low humidity, lot's a wildlife around watering holes and lot's of birds. You'll love it if you like those kinds of things. The vegetation is dried out so there will not be as much green as in the wet season. But it is beautiful in my eyes.

Oh goodness! I’ve never seen a manatee in the wild. I would have lost it! 💖 The Everglades look spectacular. Definitely on our list. You guys slayed the kayaking! We have been kayaking in a flooded mine in Red River Gorge in KY and loved it. Going to try sea kayaking in Jamaica in October.
@NewstateNomads3 жыл бұрын
Oh my gosh! You're going to love it when you see one. They're amazing!!! And so cute. I can't believe how active they were...that's definitely rare to see them moving like that. The Red River gorge kayaking sounds fun! Can't wait to hear how it is in Jamaica too!
