I've been to Bangkok twice. I will never forget this experience, when I went out of the spa. I saw women cooking omelette. I felt hungry so I asked them how much that was. Then the massage therapist tried so hard to speak saying "This food...buy no...for staff only but I give you." She then accompanied me to have my seat in front of the shop. I was embarrassed with a mix of happiness and gratefulness. I felt home! I felt like she's my mother. Thailand is really a brother of the Philippines. Thank you forever. Love from 🇵🇭! I'm planning to visit there again! So excited for Songkran! 💦

In Asia... Thailand is closest to our culture regarding family orientation. About In-laws and food. In fact according to news reports, Thailand is a twin sister of the Philippines. Even in culture, respectful and kid people as most of them are buddihst. Im a Filipino been to Thailand... physical features seems the same until they begin to talk. In Thailand, Filipinos are best known there are ENGLISH teachers. Many Filipinos are working in Thailand as teachers. Not only English teacher but also Elementary school teachers. What I like most is teaching school Thai children to love their country and sing their national anthem. Filipinos are famous in Thailand as english teacher said our Thai Tour guide and Manny Pacquiao.

Man I just love Krung Thep (BKK), I love the city's structure, the BTS (pronounced P T ET by Thais), the gentle and friendly people, the almost absent street crimes (I take an ordinary bus on the way home to Ratchatewi at 3 am almost every night!), and lastly I miss the Woon Sen (spicy vermicelli salad) and Ba Mien (meat noodles soup). Btw, I'm fei guo ren (Mandarin for Filipino).

I am from region 5 whom according to study originated from Thailand. Some parts of the archipelago comes mostly from Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei who took off out of cruel Majapahit Empire time rule and inhabited every Island and stayed. not always... both the volks (philippines + thailand) are very diverse countries , 60% of thais have chinese roots while others have other SEA roots and indian roots which refers more to the south thais (and originally thais came from south china 4000+ years ago as the first ever humans who inhabited thailand ,that is mentioned in every HISTORY DOCUMENTARY OR BOOKS about thailand history! Also a reason why so many have chinese roots .although most dont know that since they dont research much about theyre origin & history. but even those who know ofcoure consider themself as thai even the 100% chinese who live in thailand for the several last 50 generations do that, though u wouldnt always knew even the 100% east chinese in TH often have dark skin) not all thais look like people think all of southeast asians look like. i dont know much about filipinos but i do know that a lot of them also have often spanish roots. Some SEA have more east asian facial feat. & some dont. THERE IS NO CERTAIN ONE LOOK SEA PEOPLE HAVE especially not with facial feat. , east asians were orignally also for the VERY most part darkskinned people , most people simply dont know that since they never looked at pics from east asians who are 100+ years old.

Mon, Laos, Burmese, Khmer etc. Siam in the past covered some areas of our neighbor countries. When Siam won the war, we took the people from our neighbor countries to the capital city to help in construction. Bangkok has maximum number of mixed races.
