this theme makes me cry. seeing lilie finally face her fears and do so much to save her mother, even though her mother hated her, is just so inspiring.

The changes in tone/instruments made me imagine Lillie traveling to Kanto first, then heading off to Sinnoh/Unova, maybe a bit of Hoenn after. Topping things off with a visit back to Kalos. ...she is from Kalos right? Maybe that's just a head-canon I made up....

I see. And yeah I figured that out about their Pops. Just a tad mad at him for not reaching out, but his reasons may be the same as AZ's Floette's as his partner had changed. Who knows? It's not too late.

Can I ask why this doesn't have more likes?
@PortmanTone7 жыл бұрын
it's not so strange. The ratio of likes to views for this video is supposedly pretty good, with "experts" on this topic suggesting that a good ratio is 40 likes per every 1000 views. Many people watch videos without ever intending to leave a like/dislike rating even when they do enjoy or don't enjoy a video. The viewership ratio (and like ratio) on successful videos goes up in turn with an increasing subscriber count. Simply put, I don't feel like I'm in an unfortunate spot because my numbers supposedly mean that viewers for the most part like my videos =)

REALLY great arrangement I actually didn't like that theme THAT much (I only liked it more as the old one as Lillies personality gets better with that) But this cover is perfect Still like Lonely Lillie the most (who doesn't) And how didn't I find you earlier... your playing A LOT of instruments And I'm having a lot of respect for that

Just out of curiosity, how have you gained the skill on each of the instruments? (And how do you have so many!?)
@PortmanTone7 жыл бұрын
Hi~ (Incoming wall-o-text) I took private lessons in piano for 7-8 years and on violin for 3-4 from teachers who left me mostly in classical-land :) . For the other instruments that I'm self taught on, I spent some time looking up online resources etc. on playing fundamentals and even pedagogy (You can better understand how to play an instrument if you learn how to teach about it). There's alot of technical overlap between many of these instruments, reducing time I have to invest in the learning process, and makes it less necessary to literally practice them all. (Eg. I spend more practice time on tenor sax and trumpet, and much of the skill carries over to alto sax and trombone with minor adjustments). I do occasionally have a check up on other instruments (don't want them lonely or for me to forget how they feel), but for the most part, I've had to be focused on smaller groups of instruments, with narrow focus on particular aspects of play. This tends to mean that my ability to play is often not well rounded (As you're a trumpet player you might notice that I've improved my range and tone production from video to video, but have not played anything that requires notable agility in jumping between partials--though that's sure to come at some point). I think that's what's great about us recording ourselves. We can track our progress in a more tangible way. Why, just in this video, I noticed that my fingers leave the sax keys way too far, and that my violin bowing is switching between sounding points without my intending--easy things to fix, but sometimes they go under the radar when we focus on other aspects of play.
