I know Youpi falls back heavily on instinct, but he wasn't incapable of strategy. He even decided to feign one of his rage explosions to trick his opponents. Because Youpi never considered stuff like that before and it came to him out of nowhere in the middle of battle as a stroke of brilliance, I think Youpi might have been a strategic genius that was just never applied until that night.

Not only that but after his transformation he became very level headed and as the narrator said: he stopped seeing things in simple manner. For example, he deduced that there was someone who can become invisible and that it wasn't teleportation. I think people underestimate Youpi's intelligence. He evolved mentally extremely fast during such a short fight.

Feel like some people are underrating Pitou quite a lot here. She got quite a lot stronger after that Kite thing. And beating someone as strong as Kite with low difficulty after pretty much just being born and not even having nen abilitys is insane. Also the jump she did later on to reach Meruem and Komugi was twice as strong as the one she did before at Kite. So Hisoka being able to manage Pitous speed is really questionable. Also Pitou tanking Jajanken from Adult Gon and not just still having her head but also still being alive after that is fucking impressive. So in terms of durability there is a gigantic gap aswell. Royal Guards are just completly overpowered monsters.

Razor broke Hisoka’s fingers when he blocked his spike without using gyo. Imagine Hisoka trying to block Pitou without using gyo loll. He would get one shot no question. You're putting a lot of emphasis on Hisoka's ability to bungee repair himself, but can he do this easily in the middle of a fight? Can he make himself a new heart? A new brain? The conditions for his alleged immortality are fairly specific, and the Guard can certainly interfere with all of them. I agree he stands the best chance against Pitou, but I also don't think Pitou would humor him very long and would pretty quickly take his head or heart in the process.

One thing that you forgot about: Pitou managed to take Meruem's hit like a champ when she/he suggested that the king should use gyo to find rare humans. Meruem said it himself: "Pitou, you are quite the strong; I was trying to kill you." It takes a massive amount of power for Hisoka to deal enough damage to Pitou for her/him to weaken down. I don't think Hisoka has the ability to achieve such power which is why I think Pitou will win against Hisoka.

I'd say that of the three royal guards Youpi is the strongest one in a combat scenario. He's practically hardwired for fighting and also his abilities are entirely made for doing so. His best way of dealing with whatever poses a threat to the king is killing it, so of course he is the best fighter of the three.

Pouf could break into near cellular level (“trillions of particles”) and reconstruct upon exposure/inhalation inside Hisoka’s trachea, lungs (causing suffocation and death), eyes (causing blinding), ears (hearing impairment), etc. I don’t think bungee gum would help there. Hisoka could die an instant death, trying to fight an opponent he can’t see; one who actually enjoys skirmishes and guerrilla warfare. What’s more: hypnotic wing scales. And his cocoon and chrysalis abilities could be used to recover/delude, exactly as he did with Morel. Finally, Pouf is incredibly shrewd (at least on a similar level to Hisoka). Perfect foil to Pitou’s immeasurable raw strength and Youpi’s malleability and immense aura. Lest we forget, Pouf is supposed to be the 2nd strongest guard (it’s been confirmed that their order of “strength” follows their order of birth; rather counter-intuitive, but true). The catch would be if Hisoka were to figure out where Pouf’s main body/center was hiding and destroy it (and smthg tells me he’d figure out the presence of a control center incredibly quickly). It’s a tight match, but I personally think Pouf could end up easily coming on top (provided he does smthg to guard that control center). The primary reason Killua had an advantage over Pouf is because the latter was tight on time. Had he gotten a chance to formulate a strategy, the outcome would’ve been significantly different.

I appreciate the analysis you're putting into this, but I feel like there should've been more specific pointers on how Hisoka could make up for the sheer physical difference between him and the Guards. Besides the one regarding Kite, which I feel should be taken with a grain of salt anyway because Gon was clearly the one who took Kite's death the hardest, and in that period of grief he could have very easily made a poor call. That being said, even with that pointer in mind, just because Kite could see Pitou coming when they shot themself straight at the group does not necessarily translate to combat speed. As for the comment about Hisoka only needing to land fatal blows on them...I don't really understand that idea, because you never really establish what that win condition is. it comes off as though you're really downplaying the physical abilities of the Guard for the sake of argument, which I think is fine, but it should have been made clear beforehand. Because as is, it makes the prospect of Pitou and Pouf being poorly matched against Hisoka feel fundamentally flawed when they can just...punch his head off. I could see Pouf not wanting to do that, but the option is still there. Hisoka's clever, but I don't think he can compensate for the stark contrast in power between him and the royal guard, even if the discussion of their nonphysical stats leads to some interesting conclusions.

7:49 Pitou was an incredible distance away (possibly 2km given her nen range) and Kite still barely had time to react, losing an arm in the process. I think a better indication of him being able to “keep up” would be the amount of damage that was caused to the forest. It seems Kite didn’t get blitzed right off the bat (after losing his arm) and survived long enough for the environmental damage to take place. 9:16 How would Hisoka land a devastating hit? A full power Kite (albeit armless) only put a scratch on Pitou. What does Hisoka have in his arsenal to bypass Pitou’s durability? A supercharged bungee gum punch?

Well we saw that she took considerable damage from being punched through the trees I think hisoka could easily get her to jump at him full force where he would attack bungee gun to here feet and then he just spins and hurls her really fast it would barely hurt but if he was good enough it might work after a while just like how netero was starting to make the king ache after a long time

About Pitou, first of all Kite was able to react to Pitou when she was jumping to them from over 500 meters, not in a close combat, which is a completely different thing. Also damaging Pitou is pretty much impossible for Hisoka. Pitou took a direct Hit from Netero's budda statue and took ZERO damage, and only Gon with inslae lvl of Nen and his "Rock" could actually damage her, because Gon's first strong kick with crazy Ken in gorwn state did no damage to her as well, so Hisoka literally has no move that can damage the royal guard. If Pitou is not able to outspeed Hisoka and Cut his head off using her speed, at best this becomes a battle of atrition, where Pitou obviously wins.

But Gotoh could fire coins as fast as bullets and Hisoka was both able to dodge, catch, and counter attack those same coins by using his Bungee Gum.l, Which has the properties of both rubber and gum, to propel himself. I don't think hisoka's body parts are entirely replaceable, they're just being substituted and I don't think they're even all that useful to hisoka... might even be limiting the amount of nen he has for fighting due to constantly using it as substitute body parts. This is some of the biggest hisoka wank I’ve ever seen 😂 Against youpi there is nothing he can do to damage him. If youpi gets somewhat serious Hisoka stands no chance. The only reason knuckle morel and shoot survived against him is cuz youpi saw them as no more than flys. He has the best chance against Pouf as pouf has no offensive feats but the sleep scales he let off would be pretty difficult for Hisoka to avoid Pitou withstood an attack from both Netero and Meruem with almost no damage shown. Yes neither of them were their strongest attacks but Hisoka has no durability feats to even think he could withstand an attack from Netero or Meruem. Hisoka has no attack anywhere near those of Meruem or Netero where as Pitou was able to cut off Kites and adult Gon’s arm with one attack. Netero said himself that Pitou was stronger than him(although probably not true) where as he completely disregarded Hisoka and thought nothing of him. People don’t understand that The royal guard are on a different level from humans that are at the level of Hisoka Chrollo or the zoldycks.

Pitou is the most dangerous Royal Guard in physical combat. The speed and strength would be comparable to a tiger vs a human. Youpi was stronger, but in comparison slow. I think the biggest flaw here is that people think any of these guys are somewhat comparable to peak Gon. Netero for example did no damage to Pitou and he had the intent to kill with that strike. Gon is a Freecss, that bloodline can flourish on the Dark Continent. There are only 4 known characters to survive a Dark Continent voyage. Survive as in come back without any major afflictions. Zigg Zoldyck, Isaac Netero, Linn Horsdoeuvre, and Beyond Netero. Essentially, if you arent Zoldyck/Netero level, the Royal Guard are instant death. The only feasible way to defeat the ants is to be peak Freecss level.

A fun hypothetical I like to think about is if Netero managed to recruit the entire Zoldyck family, all of the Zodiacs, and Beyond (maybe even Hisoka, Bisky, Razor etc.), how well would they fare against the Royal Guards and Meruem. The matchups could be something like this: - Extermination squad vs Pitou (pretty set in stone b/c Gon would want to fight Pitou) - Zoldyck Family (or Zodiacs) vs Youpi - Zodiacs (or Zoldyck family) vs Pouf - Netero, Beyond, Maha, Ging, Pariston vs Meruem Netero gets the best from the Zoldycks and Zodiacs. Pariston is potentially very powerful and I feel like him and Ging could make for some big brain attack strategies. If he’s not strong at all then swap him for Botobai. Will these teams be enough to deal with the Royal guard? How many will die? If a team manages to defeat their respective Royal guard then they will join the other Royal guard fights. If all royal guards are wiped out then they will join the battle against Meruem. I wonder how many would make it to that point and if their abilities could be of any use. Let me know what you guys think.

You're downplaying Aura quantity a lot and how much it actually matters in these fights. No one, and I mean no one could deal significant damage to the Royal Guards without using hacks. Youpi was never damaged in the slightest only just annoyed, Pouf was damaged because of the cells being burned by Killua and even then it was a 50% power Pouf (Albeit the technique probably could've worked to kill smaller cells from a 100% pouf) but otherwise he was perfectly fine, and Pitou was killed by Gon using a hacks powerup that put him on the aura level of the king. Aura quantity is directly related to how much defense a character has (This was shown very well in the fight of Gon vs Owl, Snake, and Bat where they were landing plenty of hits but had hardly done any damage because of Gon's practically limitless nen reserve) and all the royal guards are brimming to nearly the max with it, I firmly believe that Hisoka could straight up not damage any of them, even post Chrollo fight Hisoka. If I'm missing anything please feel free to correct me.

Hisoka nearly broken his own arms with bungee gum by having it wrap around his arms. I'm pretty sure hisoka could use bungee gum to get the guard to damage itself. Still wouldn't be enough and the condition to do that is so rare i doubt it could be done

Base Pitou was already the strongest Royal Guard, she low diff’d Kite who’s Chrollo/Hisoka level Thing is even IF Pitou was killed by Hisoka he’d still have to fight Post-death Pitou who gained the post-mortem Nen amp and was way faster than Godspeed Killua and was able to take off Adult Gin’s arm (although he let her rip it off, still is a scaleable feat).

I'm not entirely convinced that the bungee gum would be strong enough to get Pitou's hand to hurt herself. Number 13 of Razor's Devils was able to stop the dodgeball from being pulled back by the bungee gum causing Hisoka to disable the ability. Let's say for sake of argument that Hisoka could get her arm in a position aimed right at her heart, and also had the mechanisms set up to get a direct blow. She could just dispel the aura on her arm and block with more aura on her chest. I cannot think of a circumstance where he would even get her in that position. Also Kite reacted to a freshly born Pitou with no nen abilities, a much more refined Pitou would decimate Hisoka with low difficulty.

The BungeeGum is one of the most versatile nen abilities in the Hunter universe, plus Hisoka’s strategy often includes using the enemy’s abilities against them not just to mock them, but also to set up feints and counters. in terms of normal fight, i dont think anyone could defeat RG except Netero.. 2 of them were defeated by poison which cost Netero's life.. I haven't watched the video yet but im going to assume no. Hisoka's combination of rubber and gum just doesn't have the PohWaaa to take out one of the guards. I am willing to be convinced otherwise but I don't see how his skill set takes down Pitou, or Youpi. We never saw Pouf go hand to hand but given the enormity of his aura reserves and over all intellect compared to the other two I think Pouf still comes out on top.

Actually Pitou might be the worst match up for Hisoka. One, her abilities are NOT useless --- or at least not one of them, which is Terpsichora. First off, we never really saw Terpsichora extensively, but considering its ability to "overcome limits", and the fact that a Terpsichora Pitou was relative to Godspeed Killua (when she cut Gon's arm off)... it's safe to say she can absolutely blitz. Second, Pitou is deadlier offensively than the other two, mostly because she is faster. We saw the other characters, slower than Hisoka, literally just run around Youpi. Hisoka is never getting hit by Youpi. While Pouf's abilities are not meant for offense. But Pitou? She just swipes your head off. One attack, that's all it takes, and good luck dodging it. Third, Pitou's en is the widest of the three, meaning there is literally no escaping her, while Hisoka can escape the other two.

Bruh. Kite being able to almost react to Pitou while they were jumping from literally miles away is not the feat you're making it out to be. Also, you make it sound like bungie gum is a win condition against Pitou, and I'm absolutely in agreement that that's true against most targets, it's completely ridiculous against Pitou. No, it's as simple as that, even Netero didn't try fighting Pitou when he wasn't at full strength. Maybe Hisoka could have beaten Kite, barely, depending on his draws. Youpi gets stronger over time and better adapted to his opponent, while Hisoka likes to draw out fight and play with his. That's a dead no. Shaiapouf could just run away at any time and he's a smart trickster too, neither would win. Pitou is quite strong from the get go and her healing + post mortem ability make her very dangerous. Pitou is arguably more dangerous and Youpi in a physical fight. Pitou wasnt a sitting target, they could straight up rush characters like Netero and Kite. I think the reason why a lot of us think Pitou would most easily win is that they are not only the fastest and has Terpsichora (sp?) but also, they appear to be the smartest and most perceptive of the royal guard as well. Hisoka does not actually have regeneration power or healing though. He can only put texture on the wound to make it appear to be healed, and also attach his still unusable limp with gum. Any damage you cause to him actually stay under that illusion.

Manga Hisoka wound up dying against Chrollo but restarted his heart with a last-second gamble of post-mortem nen to restart his heart (using the elsasticity of Bungee Gum to forcibly pump blood through his system) Like most post-mortem nen, the ability grew stronger. His Bungee Gum became much more malleable in consistency and responsive in function, allowing him to create prosthetic limbs made out of it. In combination with texture surprise, he uses the conjured nature to coat the nen prosthetic with skin and visible appear to be normal.

There’s literally no proof how much of a power upgrade he got. The royal guards can take attacks from mureum and netero which I don’t think hisoka could survive from. Let’s not kid ourselves

And then during the plan itself they were making progress, during which Killua developed Godspeed. Also is there proof that Hisoka is SIGNIFICANTLY more powerful now in the manga after death? The only impression I got was that the post-mortem nen allowed him to survive death only shortly after his heart stopped beating due to suffocation. Now, the only difference that I think we as an audience have seen is that Hisoka is simply a lot more deadly and bloodlusted, not really "messing around" anymore. It's just kill spiders on sight; that's a big difference from his prior mental state so he will appear far more intimidating but idk if it's been stated or shown to be a real boost in raw ability to just restart your heart with nen skill. I feel like you need to still be dead for post-mortem nen to be, well, post-mortem

Kite stated that pitou is “monster” even by his own standards. Killua also stated “that even morel, knov, and netero” would not be able to defeat pitou and i doubt killua has any reason to lie about that. Thirdly, colt also strengthened the argument of how the 3 royal guards are on a different scale to someone like the late netero. And colt didn’t even budged whe he saw netero’s aura upclose and personal. So in my humble opinion, even if hisoka was able to miraculously kill pitou “post mortem” pitou would be revived even stronger after death to put the nail in the coffin. I don’t like how you came up with that idea where pitou could lose to someone like hisoka its like you’re saying kite is weaker than hisoka

@@Lemjanmusic A good thing to remember is that Pitou took that hit from Netero (which he stated he had the intent to kill) with no damage similar to Meruem. Pitou even took a similar hit from Meruem (that same hit would one shot 99.99% of every character in the story) where he tried to kill her. Though, unlike Meruem, Pitou is catlike and likes to 'play with her food' and is therefore a lot less tactical or even intelligent. I could see Netero stalemating Pitou instead of losing the attrition battle like he did with Meruem. The Colt point still stands, Pitou and Netero negate each other, but Netero would still be dog walked by the Royal Guard. Honestly, imagine for one second the Royal Guard attacking together. Killua was right as well, the aura difference was overwhelming. His experience would only get him past a 1v1, the Royal Guard consecutively or even in tandem is no dif. Killua isnt stupid or inexperienced, and Colt gave an objective answer.

Kite was blitzed by a day old Pitou. I think the real issue is that people are missing the gap between Netero and peak Gon. Netero tried to kill Pitou with that slap and it did no damage. Gon with a simple kick left Pitou staggered and bleeding. His Rock sent Pitou flying a mile away through trees and rocks, and damn near caved her face in. Pitou went from toying with Kite to essentially being 2 shot by Gon. Pitou admitted that Gon could threaten pre-rose Meruem, something that Netero couldnt even dream of. You have to be contending with Meruem to defeat Pitou, and you have to be Netero to not instantly die. Netero is bare minimum the #2 hunter in the world (we have every reason to belive Ging is #1), and could do nothing to Pitou. You have to be a prime Freecss to even threaten the Royal Guard. The same Freecss that can thrive on the Dark Continent. Not saying Netero had no chance against Pitou, he has all the experience and an unbreakable guard, but thats just 1/3rd of the Royal Guard. Respectfully, Hisoka has no chance against Netero, and likely would be toyed with by Pitou similar to Kite.

Alright Liam, I need Kite vs. Hisoka. In order to help make the Pitou vs Hisoka fight clearer, we need to establish how relevant Kite is to scaling Pitou over Hisoka. I personally think Hisoka is far and away superior to Kite, physically. Like his stats would be well above Kite's if I was making them as characters in a game. That doesn't necessarily mean Hisoka would win the fight (yes he would, given the abilities we've seen Kite use), but with Kite not being a muscle based fighter--I don't think he is the best base to compare Hisoka to.

It is unfortunate but I would agree with the pitou one, mostly due to pitou's chosen skill set. I think that had it chosen a more combat oriented skills it would have been the strongest of the three royal gaurds in terms of raw power. However it specifically chose to go with a bit more veratility and long term usability. For instance, in a world without fighting, enhacers aren't actually the most handy. They are still useful but no where near the handiness of the others affinities. I agree with Yupis analysis as well, in that if hisoka couldn't finish it quickly then hisoka will absolutely lose, but given that hisoka probably has no means of killing yupi quickly I don't see hisoka winning very often. The pouf one is the only one I am not certain of. As I do agree it wouldn't progress very fast in any meaningful way, I do think hisoka has the wit to find a solution to poufs ability. Pouf also arrogantly underestimates his opponents due to their species. Feeling superior he would expect less, even if pouf himself has the intelligence and cleverness to be as cunning, he isn't smart enough to recognize how blind he is. Hisoka on the other hand wouldn't underestimate them. He thinks of himself as the strongest and can seem arrogant but he only wants to confirm his beliefs by battling those he knows to be strong or percieved as stronger than himself. He would reconize how strong pouf is and would not underestimate him, but would accept the challenge of something so seemingly insurmountable. To come out on top he would add to his feelings of being strong. That fact means that he will always expect more from his opponent. He could very well win but perhaps in the opposite way as with yupi. The longer the figher the better he might due against pouf. No I don't think his new application of his nen would make him immortale and he couldn't heal his loss of his head, but he is so fast at with his application that a removed limb would be almost instant replaced and anything but taking his head is unlikely to end him. All of the troupe have the power and speed to remove his head in an instant but they would have to do it from the start, and even then it isn't a garuntee they will pull it off. Very likely all will think so little of him that they won't go all out right away, not unless there is a sense of urgency or intense emotions like pure rage.

I believe hisoka is one of gings student. He has a task is to find ging. He spoke to one of the zodiac where ging is. The same kite task is to find ging and because of that ging told about gon that is why hisoka is taking care if gon same as kite coz he thinks if he finds gon he will find ging. He knows gon is monster coz he saw already ging ability as a monster too. Same as razor told. Pitou survived a killing blow from the Mereum. This is the same Meruem who Netero could not fight h2h because if he did he would of just got ripped apart. Hisoka has nothing in his arsenal that could hurt Pitou. And I am confused about all of this super powerful post death Hisoka talk. Post mortem nen makes the users aura orders of magnitude more powerful in almost every way. It's one of the first intricacies you learn about in the series. Hisoka used it to revive himself from death and has amplified the effects of bungee gum. This applies to basic aura usage as well. Hisoka was able to kill two members of the troupe following his revival, despite the fact that they didn't have their abilities they're also accomplished fighters in their own rights which mastery over all the basics. That being said they were both literally killed in a single strike.

Netero > Uvogin > Hisoka in Attack Power. Netero cannot scratch a single royal guard without hitting them thousands of times like he did to Meruem, all the royal guards have greater nen and by extension stamina than Hisoka. Hisoka has no hax he can use to bypass durability. Every royal guard has the AP to cleave Hisoka in two with a single strike. Hisoka gets negged, negative difficulty. This isn’t a debate.

Before watching: Hisoka would not stand a chance against any of the Royal Guard and him rating himself so highly during the Election arc feels like a retcon of the power scale. After watching: Oh, this is a fanfic version of Hisoka that has strength likely on par with the Meruem (if he can damage Pitou physically) and healing on par with Majin Buu. Okay, fair play, I guess. All said, I wouldn't mind Hisoka being this strong with post-mortem Nen but I think its a reach to assume he's already at this level when the story hasn't confirmed nor even really hinted at this.

The main idea is none of his Nen abilities would fair well against any of the ant guards and his physical strength, speed and durability (which he tends to rely on in his fights) is nothing compared to theirs. It's literally a no-win situation for him.

I am pretty sure those polls were just people's preference instead of any true combat analysis. Having said that I think you had it pretty correct except I think you forgot that Pitou also has post mortem nen that could lead to a double kill, but I also think Pitou wins for durability seeing how even a powerful netero attack barely did any damage and it took super gon Many punches to actually kill Pitou and Pitou also still came back to life so I think until we see the full potential of hisokas new abilities I have him losing all 3 or 2 losses and a draw.

I kind of agree however the damage done by chrollo puppet explosion scale far greater than any attack we saw pitue every do and as far as loosing limbs we have seen hisoka literally make a show of that so it clearly doesn't bother him too much damage wise as well we have seen hisoka match some pretty heavy hitters and besides chrollos insane prep and prior knowledge of hisoka no one has ever put him on his toes and he scales to chrollo pre revive and chrollo scaled to two zoldicks one of which was with netero when they invaded also netero strick to pito was meant to move like swatting a fly not kill it wasn't the target
