I did my re-read of the whole arc last week and Yokotani had a little exchange with another member before his power was revealed where he is asked if the first princes guards came for them would they be breaking the law in any way. Yokotani said no. So Kakin's highest military must operate above the law that Yokotani's entire ability is based on. It begins to feel like such a backwards ability for a criminal to possess. The people who the Heil-ly are trying to destroy designed the system his Hatsu is dependent on.

I do wonder if the issue with Fugetsu could involve Leorio in some way. Sure He's not a "nen exorcist" but he's evolved his nen ability in a way to help with his objective of being a doctor. I could see him being able to adapt/evolve his nen into that of an exorcist as well if his mission is to save as many lives as possible, then it would make sense that he would also want the power to save nen users. Especially after what he saw with Gon, it would not surprise me if he had started to practice a means to adapting his nen to save nen users from curses.

That’s a good point. The word “Nen Attack” may be a misnomer. Even healing can be considered an attack in that sense. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that these guardians use that same definition. Most likely the king will just not read it or it IS considered an attack and won’t work.

Maybe a better way to adress the character introductions and reintroductions would be to simply list them by name at the start or better at the end of the chapter (to avoid spoiling something) like one does at the start of a drama play. This list could also include a number of chapter where each character was first introduced and seen last time, for example. If there is a mysterious somebody hiding or without the name yet known, you could just use a desciption or "???" or something like that.

I believe Fugetsu is aware that the original Kacho is dead, I think it was implied in her phrasing. And I think she is probably cursed but will survive with help of Kurapika (there might be a chance he can cure curses with his chain) and he will be saved by Fugetsu‘s Ability/Nen beast at least once. Killing this ability of makes no sense for Togashi, the real problem right now is a lack of movsbility and Fugetsu‘s door just get‘s rid of that power altogether. I can’t imagine Kurapika and Fugetsu not teaming up.

I think it is much more likely that Kurapika uses the Door offensive to bypass guards and attack for example a prince or even more likely, he‘ll get stomped trying to get the eyes of his brethren and the door will save him from death (my suggestion)

I think she's more like subconsciously aware, or even that she sorta suspects it but is afraid to confront Kacho/the fake about it, so she's agonizing about it and that combined with her nen overuse is causing spirits of death to linger over her. Otherwise I'd suspect the Have-Nots of cursing her, but that's a reach.

Something interesting (or scary if you prefer) is that a really strong Nen user like a troupe member or Hisoka could literally just go in and kill all of the princes. The majority of them don’t know Nen, and those that do definitely aren’t a match for them. One of the princes could hire them to assassinate the rest. And bam war over. Is this likely, no. I'm bothered by Prince Tyson's line "Unfortunately, I only fight with love". I wonder if we saw that in the same chapter as the near-death Fugetsu b/c they are connected. We also learned this chapter that the lower princes have a Book of Tyson, so maybe Tyson's ability is influencing Fugetsu's feelings, and encouraging her to exhaust herself by playing on her love for Kacho? For me, the main element of Fugetsu's condition is that she seems addicted to using her power. That makes me think an outside influence is at work, and the way Fugetsu feels blissful lines up with how Tyson makes her followers feel.

On Hisoka meeting the other princes…he actually has a strong chance of meeting the 1st and 2nd princes in my opinion, since they both got locked up in the VVIP area after 2nd Prince Camilla tried to shoot 1st prince Benjamin. Hisoka was given a pass to the VVIP area…I think he’s going to be completely transfixed with 1st Prince Benjamin and possibly join in on the fights that will probably happen between those two 😁

It’s become clear that Sale-Sale, Kacho & Momoze are expandable to the war since Tyson, Fugetsu and Marayam are all in a way synchronized with each of them. Tyson and Sale-Sale have similar-ish powers plus they both enjoy the company of the opposite sex around them. Kacho and Fugetsu are sisters; DUH! 🙄 Not to mention that their powers quite literally meat to work with one another. Momoze and Marayam are siblings as well plus all of Momoze’s primary resources are now aligned with Marayam. My estimation is that the 4th and 5th princes that are to die might have a connection with another prince that’s still alive in this contest.

Melody's situation is worse than we all realize. The princes know three key details. 1) Melody was involved in the escape attempt. 2) Melody has a nen ability. 3) At least one prince died in that escape attempt. One could bet that the princes likely viewed the escape attempt as a ruse to assassinate a prince, and even if they are wrong... the theory makes sense. Now that Fugetsu's is afflicted with a curse and is inching closer to death, Melody could be seen way more as a liability than an asset. Should Fugetsu die, it wouldn't be crazy for one or two princes to assume that Fugetsu died, indirectly, as a result of the escape attempt. A prince could infer that Melody is in league with someone who uses an ability with an incubation period that causes instant death. It wouldn't be crazy because that's how "How to Get Away with Murder" works. At that point, a prince would absolutely want to get rid of Melody really quickly.
