Thanks for sharing the story. I honestly didn't know much about this, and I feel bad. I'm ignorant and have been consuming other things and totally missed this perspective. I have a son, and I'd support him no matter what. People can be really cruel sometimes. I could've been in the other group. I can see the correlation between this and some stuff I went through. This was really familiar, we also have a trans teenager named Max that plays the ukelele. We live in MA so things are easier for us. This sort of thing is so important to show the fearful- that you're just a family and he's just a person. Please stay safe and keep moving forward.
