“cis” isnt a new word, a quick google search would tell you that. cis and trans are both prefixes(you literally learn about this in school) so your gender doesnt change to “cis”, its just used to describe your gender identity. hope this helps

It effects the children who's lives are ruined because they were brainwashed into believing they were trans just because they were being kids. Puberty blockers, hrt, surgery ALL RUINS their lives whether they turn out to be trans or not. You HAVE to experience your natural puberty for so many reasons, including the proven FACT that your brain can't finish growing if you start before you're 25. Your bones, your genitalia, your ability to have an orgasm when they're old enough to know what that is.. all destroyed for the sake of being woke. Stfu. I just wonder what happened, it was all going well and good for the LGBTQI community, and then all of sudden they whole country turned on them one state after another like slamming the brakes on them super hard and then taking it all back and taking away what they worked so hard for all of them years, then taking away all of their rights. It will be really bad on them just forcing them to be something they don't want to be. I wished God would let people just pick what gender they want to be before they are born it would make it easier on everyone.

@a.h.s5152 Gender identity hijacked LGB community. What was about gay rightshas over time turned to gender ideology. People outside of the community are super sceptical since are being told there are over 70 genders and are completely fluid. Unfortunately, LGB took these gender obsessed people under their wing, and now are thanklessly caught in the crossfire. Gay people don't demand strangers to address them in ways that go against their beliefs or common sense.

apparently as the only trans person in these comments, that i see anyways, i have to say that this is not a cult. this is not grooming. i grew up christian and homophobic/transphobic. but there was always this depression, this sadness, in me. as i grew up and i started puberty, it only grew. i self harmed. i tried to commit. i thought dying was a much better alternative as to living as a girl. im 18 now, on testosterone, and so SO much happier. we are not “indoctrinating your kids”. we want them to be safe, to be happy. - a trans man in texas

This is abuse and has gone way too far. There was no need for a bill or law for what was already in existence since the beginning of time. Now we have a parade of people who have made this into a clownish type of movement where kids don't believe they are safe. Why did they need to show international bravery and create a cancellation of one true gender due to a self hatred and dysphoria? I grew up in the 60s through 80s, children and adults were excepted and no one really cared or bullied them. My sons are in their 30s and 40s, they have friends who were into same sex and no one cared. Why the big deal now? Smh.

This is the great thing about the United States! You are free to move between states and not subject to laws under a single, central government which may be oppressive or not represent your best interest. I am absolutely for trans rights but not irreversible, dangerous, medical hormone therapy for kids. By all means, raise your kids according to the gender they feel they belong to but such a serious, lifelong medical change should not be done until they're mature to fully understand it and be evaluated by the professionals and legally give their consent

kids dont get to undergo gender affirming surgeries. they can take puberty blockers, but that wont change their body like testosterone or estrogen. where i live (not in usa) trans individuals get to start taking testosterone/estrogen when they are 18, although in rare cases they can start at 16 or 17 if it is deemed absolutely necessary. you also cant just walk into a pharmacy and ask for hormone replacements and theyll give it to you. you must have been talking to a professional about making that decision for a few years before they consider it. trans kids dont get surgeries or hormone replacements. but they can of course change their names, pronouns and the way that they dress and their hairstyle:) no sane doctor would ever perform these surgeries on kids. i hope this was informative and helpful.

Less than 1 out of 10 people is a member of lgbtq group and it's even worse for trans people. They are like just a quarter of that group. So, that's 9 people for straight and only 0.25 people for trans.
