Also, 5:03, Strahan really never passed L.T. in sacks. Sacks didn’t become an “official” statistic until 1982. L.T. had 9.5 sacks in 1981, giving him 142 in his career! Still The Giants all time leader! L.T. GOAT 🐐

Dec. 11 2011 I was there. I flew from FL to Dallas for that game. My father and I were in our blue Nicks and Cruz jerseys on the visitors side. Yardage was right where JPP blocked the FG. Forgot that Coughlin iced the kicker. Greatest live sports memory, along with Jones first start in Tampa, and seeing Beckham scoring in Miami.

Thanks for this. I miss the Simms /Taylor Giants Era team of the mid 80's to 1990. The Giants were feared then. Their Defense was a good group. Taylor revolutionized Outside Linebacker and Simms as much punishment he got he was a General. They never gave up.

I’m still upset that Sehorn’s career was cut short because of a pre-season kickoff return. He was a freak of nature at cornerback and was never the same after recovering from his injury.

Sigh.. No Eagles or Cowboys moments since 2011.. That's gonna change though, and soon. At least beat them one time this year, that's all we ask lol. Can get to the sweep in 2021 but for now just give us one please haha. Redskins are whatever, obviously you want to beat them both times but the Giants have had recent success against them so a win vs them doesn't hold the same weight.

With an improve O-Line for better protection, time in the pocket, blocking and opening up the run game, with better receivers who can get open and catch the ball, and a little more improvement on the defense... I can see this team doing many great things for several years to come. The biggest issue is our current salary cap issue that Gettleman left us with...

Jim Fassels 2000 Giants were softer than baby s***. They could have beaten the anemic Ravens offense. The 2000 Ravens defense was pretty fantastic however, really bad play calling. When you have a defense that's that aggressive you have to take shots!!! Kerry Collins could spin it with anyone. And there was no need to involve Kurt Warner. Kerry Collins deserved better at the very least a chance to develop Eli.
