Hearing them talk is like watching a real “Please, like me” episode that was not recorded. This is great.

I'm enjoying watching the eps of Please Like Me again on IVIEW. I have a couple of the DVDS, but not sure the player is still working. No wonder the series is so natural - now I know, that it REALLY IS two great mates, just being themselves. Thanks for the great show. 👍😀

Has anyone yet noticed that someone (assumed Josh) made Thomas Ward's Google data say that he played Nashville Corey in the conquest of canaan - a movie that was made in 1916. Of course the Wikipedia page for the movie was changed as well. I haven't checked into how far this prank goes, but Thomas Ward is also said to have been in the founding fathers movie 😂😂 please notice this other people its amazing

ARNOLD: Sorry Josh and Arnold (Keegan Joyce) broke up on PLM. Josh (the character) never tells Arnold he loves him. Instead, Josh, the show's writer, writes him out of the show and Josh, the character, defaults to one night stands with a host of gay pickups. Sad. It seems to me that almost all gay movies have sad endings like this, because the love interest is lost because his lover (the movie's star) does something that causes the love interest to feel abandoned. This is the endless theme in almost all gay movies. In real life, however, it is a receipe for a lifetime of loneliness. (Keegan Joyce's "Arnold" was a favorite character of mine and I know I am not the only PLM fan who feels that way.)

Hello :) I think Josh does declare his love to Arnold in ''Eggplant''
@99xara992 жыл бұрын
So I think it definitely ends on a sad note, but the thing I like about this show is that it was never purely happy or sad and noone was purely good or bad. It was always very ambivalent and jumpy, just like life. None of the relationships in the show (gay or not) really worked out... It's quite tragic really but I think it's just painfully realistic. I'd recommend watching "Heartstopper" if you ever need to recharge your wholesome-gayness-batteries!

Can Ricky Gervais start a series about Australian comedians and how bad they are with their comedy and racist past..? The joke is on them now.

@fvs31893 жыл бұрын
can you please elaborate this statement?, please i don't understand this
@schaukelpferd996 ай бұрын
@@fvs3189The show was about mental health amongst other things and the lives of people who don't conform to batshit conservative/neofascist ideals. For example there were gay characters and they weren't portrayed as child murdering monsters. That's "woKe proPaGandA" 😂 Also if that person actually believes Please Like Me was somehow promoting Marxism, they have absolutely no idea what they're talking about :D
