I'm a born and bred New Yorker. In the past, Chinatown was a place similar to most ethnic neighborhoods that held unique qualities. Since, during, and before the pandemic, I witnessed the gendervercation of this area. Sadly, like most of the NYC neighborhoods that tourists and it citizens alike are just former shells if that of themselves. 😢
