Marina Abramovic talks about her work, her collaborations and the future of performance art with New York Times culture reporter Patricia Cohen -- www.timestalks.com. Marina Abramovic has used her own body as a medium, pushing herself beyond her limits. After her landmark retrospective at MoMA in 2010, she collaborated with director Robert Wilson, singer-composer Antony Hegarty and performer Willem Dafoe, to create an experimental opera based on her biography. The work, "The Life and Death of Marina Abramovic," will be performed at Luminato in Toronto June 14-17.

Omg! From where I should start I don't know. She speaks very much old fashion academic way, what good art bad art, good artist , bad artist? Art from suffering? She is making an illustration and pretending she has balls. Things are much more complex than that. That's why you use the tool. There is no formula art and never been . You better talk about how you've reached your network or your botox, lip filling ,your junk food quality relations nothing else. You don't say anything. If you push, four generation max, you will be forgetten in exhausted internet.

There you have it boys, now you have the perfect excuse for abusing your kids: you want them to become GOOD artists. This woman is kinda narcissistic.

Love her, always! However different she is, the similarities are in the most truthful and common. Being Serbian helps.

These talks give such little proper introduction about the guests, they exclude everyone who don't already know who the guests are.

that's amazing I was thinking about my epilepsy and how that she is kind woman I want when I'm in Seizure I'm in care right now for terrible seizures I have been having for months. I Was watching her talk and really getting turned on... my artist side is real I know what she is talking about . I KNOW now what kind of woman I need. I dabble in the same things but keep it secret.Even when I've played in big shows. MY own and backing up famous people. She is not evil, She is an Artist. thanks for this post.
