Was my first time clearing Veteran and reaching the TLB, somehow managed to take it down. On to Master and Hero, those will surely take people a while.
Enjoying this game a lot. I played the beta with the couple first worlds but the new levels and fine tuning blow it out the water.
This game much like Resogun compresses poorly in video. It looks much nicer on the actual machine. I guess my capture card wont be up to snuff for things like this that need over 720p.

i think the difference between the top 1% and the top 20 or so players is the adept use of dash explosion. Its really the constant amongst all the top scoring replays i seen that i don't see from the rest. Its not easy to do well because dashing at the danger has a small margin of error, on top of the fact that youre using the dash safety net to do damage leaving fewer remaining gtfo charges on reserve. respect for the skills, thanks for the vid.

It was interesting to see you use the Smart Bomb as your secondary of choice. I have been rolling with only using the rocket launcher, I don't use anything else, but you have the timings with the boss fight down a lot better than I do and it is essentially an additional invulnerability that clears out projectiles as well. Just getting into Veteran, will have to try that out!

The architect is so hard on veteran (and up, obviously). The second of three phases in particular. Because when you dash to get to safety you need to immediately know where you are with respect to the cone of bullets that are being shot at you in a checkerboard pattern and then get back into the dodging groove immediately as well. It might as well be a 1 cc mandatory because if you loose all powerups...lol.

During the final boss fight, does your laser do more damage than the regular gun? or is it only good for the pass through effect?

Not sure but I think it does a little more. Dash explosion works well on the heads too.

OMG you are the best player I've ever seen. I'm playing through Veteran at the moment and at a certain point there are so many things on screen that my mind just goes blank and my reaction time turns into baby food.
