Hello, I have buy the CR-10 V2 with BL-Touch. It works well. But if the printer runs in filament out situation the heatbed and the nossle heating stops. After some seconds the model pops up from heatbed. And in the menue is no point to chnage filament. I have installed the newes version of CR-10 v2 firmeware. But if you change the filament during Print prozess all works well. So at this point the filament sensor and the Resume print option after powerfail is useless with the new Glas-heatbed. The other hand the new Glassheet works just perfekt.

Thank you Nexi. Awesome Review! I am having difficulty deciding which CR series Printer should I go with? Assuming newer model CR10 V2 would be more capable compared to all others which are out there already (considering electronic chip inside those, etc.)! Can you please do some comparison video with others Vs CR-10 V2 so that we know what to expect if we were to buy one of these? I think Amazon has reviews mixed up with Original CR-10 (sucks to rely on reviews by others since many Reviews are messed up and mixed up with other products). And not a lot of information available online as it is comparatively newer model. Can you do a detailed video on various settings, and print quality with this new model as well? Any more information on these would be great as I am and so do many others are out there shopping for a decent 3D printer. Thank you for your work! It helps a lot of newbies out there.

Thank you my friend! Well to make this video it took me more then 3 weeks of work and it seems that new KZbin algorithm don't fell like promoting this video at all which is unfortunate, so I will just answer to you here for now. Ok i understand what you meant, there is so many 3D printers in CR Series and in general to chose now and I understand that people can get confused. I have tested pretty much all 3D printers from Creality and let me tell you that this new CR-10 V2 is the most complete and the first 3D printer from Creality that works flawlessly out from the box without need to change/upgrade anything on it and the print quality is awesome. On every 3D printer from Creality so far and in general I need to fix/change/upgrade something to get it right and to make 3D printer to work as it should be out from the box. For example, On CR10 Max I needed to modify heat-bed(crucial fix), on Cr10S PRO I needed to change capacitive to inductive Auto level sensor(crucial fix) on Ender 5 and Ender 3 I needed to add TL-smothers to get rid of salmon skin on prints surface(crucial upgrade + motherboard fan fix on ender 3), on the Cr10S I needed to add AC 720W silicone heated and solid state relay to be able to print ABS as stock heated bed was unable to reach 100-110C even with heat-bed insulation installed and etc... and BTW Creality is the most successful Chinese 3D printer manufacturer on the market today and still I found some flows there and there on their new 3D printers which I always say and point out in my review videos and Creality fix them later on the new units after my feedback which is great for new owners and for the 3D printing community. From all 3D printers that Creality has produced so far, I will say that CR-10 V2 is the best and most complete 3D printer with the highest print quality out from the box. The only thing that I would change/upgrade on the new CR-10 V2 is to replace stock bowden tube with high temperature resistant Capricorn bowden tube, but only if you are planing to print Nylon or similar filament that require nozzle temperatures higher then 240C degrades. If you print PLA, PETG, ABS, WOOD, TPU etc, filaments up to 240C then the stock/generic bowden tube will be good enough. Also if you are really picky about the fan noise or you like to print and sit on the same desk table very close to the printer then I would also suggest to replace the stock cooling fans inside of control box/ power supply to new silent Noctua fans that would make it pretty much completely silent but that's just me :) P.S. If you ever want to change the stock cooling fans on the Cr10v2 check the CR10S PRO upgrade video series that I made(browse the channel) as it's similar procedure. I hope that I helped with your choice. Best Regards Nexi

@@NexiTech omg. Thank you so much for your genuine feedback. That's extremely helpful. Your the only Chanel that actually have useful content and non biased reviews. I bought the printer a couple of weeks ago....overall performance is great but having slight issue with minor layer shifting which are most directed towards the front of the printer. Oh my god I am in the same boat. I have decided though, and its going to be the CR-10 v2. Its much more reliable, and auto bed leveling works much better. The fancy features on the pro doesn't justify its bad reliability and problems. Thats just my idea after a week of research :).

@@valent_t I believe Pro V2 also has all metal hotend. I have pulled the trigger for V2 too as pro v2 was not available here in Turkey. Today I've seen an official creality video about Titan direct extruder upgrade for V2 and sadly it doesn't fit perfectly and they're trying to find a fix to this problem. It sucks to know one of the key features are not designed well and probably we cannot use titan direct drive on these machines. Hi friend! Nope, once you install Autolevel sensor and set it up you do don't need to do it again. Here are 5 steps, how to install the BL- touch on the CR10 V2: 1. Install the BL-touch - drive.google.com/open?id=1zCIQgfzIJUoN8wIjjxb4DI5j8pBJlwRp 2. Download BL- touch firmware - drive.google.com/drive/folders/1N_RVXtakOYS0uQJso0YY8yp2j1aFmoik 3. Connect Cr10 V2 to the CURA via USB cable and install new firmware. 4. Adjust BL- touch Z distance and run auto-level from the printer. drive.google.com/drive/folders/1N_RVXtakOYS0uQJso0YY8yp2j1aFmoik 5. Disconnect and remove mechanical Z stop switch from the printer. I have printed with TPU filament for years on bowden 3D printers. Just lower your print speed and you will be fine as look you are printing with low speeds. If you looking to print TPU faster then you could add Titan direct drive extruder, or if you want to print TPU much faster maybe you can modify the X carriage and add E3D Hemera extruder.

What did you do to print petg to 220 degrees?
@NexiTech4 жыл бұрын
Memo Gles AprintaPRO PETG prints just fine with 220C, only problem is that they seems to stop to produce any filament sense end of 2019 which makes me very sad. I'm not sure if they went bankrupted or what happened, Aprinta pro was producting outstanding filament for 3D printers for years.
@memogles57634 жыл бұрын
Nexi Tech thanks for your reply, I was gonna buy aprintaPRO but it isn’t available anywhere, it’s a shame if they went bankrupt. I bought the CR-10 V2 specifically to print petg, so do you have another filament brand recommendation ? Some of them print up to 250C which is quite toxic for pets and humans, also the Bowden tube would have to be replaced sooner.

Nice review very thorough. Settings for TPU please...
@NexiTech3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Setting for TPU? Just lower your print speed(lower the better) and use higher layer height like 0.2 or 0.25mm.

Between this and a 10s if the price is very close, which would you chose?

Thomas Andersson CR10 V2 is better 3D printer then CR10S in every segment.
@Moqqot4 жыл бұрын
so would you get this or the cr-10s pro v2?
@NexiTech4 жыл бұрын
Tickles It depend where you want to place this 3D printer and how you want to use it. Cr10S PR0 v2 takes less space and it's looking nicer so it's more home/apartment friendly while CR10 V2 is more bulk in size with that control box so it takes more space. People who prints alot of ABS they perfer CR10 V2 because they can place the printer in enclosure while control box is outside. Both printers have pretty much identical print quality and print size so it's just your preference.

@@NexiTech Ok, ill be printing some stormtrooper parts for cosplay, create minifigs for boardgames and parts for collectible action figures so i can modify them myself. So i guess ill be an "allrounder" both printing large and small and different fillaments. Im also quite new at 3d printing but i dont want to buy and "feel" my way to the right one. Alot of ppl rekommend this so i thought ill start with this one or the 10s pro one. Are there differences in printed object's details?
