I just got my xza+s(foliage green) model delivered on jan 10th 2022, have travelled around 200kms so far(mostly in city mode), the mileage is around 14 km, I drove the car mainly in National Highways and state highways, and around 10-15 km in city(less traffic mostly in 2-3 gear), the car is a delight to drive, you won't feel small potholes at high speeds, and speed breakers won't give you that bad feeling when you see one ahead due to the smooth suspension and superior ground clearance, but what I love the most is not having to repeat the same process of shifting to 2nd gear and crossing the speed breaker then gradually upshifting, everything is a breeze, I do feel that the drive is little dull especially when you want to overtake in highways in small intervals, that race wale feeling:(, i definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a comfort and stress free driving with 100% safety (proper family car!)

Brilliant video. I have delivery of my automatic petrol Nexon in 1st week of October and i did 3 test drives of it AMT. I have around 3 lacs km of driving experience in all kind of Delhi traffic driving Vista Petrol and Vista Diesel in manual transmission and trust me all it took me was a couple of kms for gear change and acceleration lag to go unnoticed. One must understand gear shift isn't jerky the acceleration has milli second of lag. an appropriate example would be - While doing shifts in manual if one of our shifts is jerky what we try to do on next shift, carefully release the clutch and put on the gas pedal and then what happens - Jerky shift or lag in acceleration ? whatever happens then happens in AMT of Nexon petrol

In city traffic, just try Economy mode if you want to drive with steady speed, you will feel butter smooth gear shifting

U can visit showroom and check base model sitting posture according to your height if u r comfortable than lower variants is value for money

On a hill decent in manual we can control speed just by shifting to 1 gear and car will not exceed 15-20kph. No need to press brakes. Without applying accelerator in amt is it possible to keep the car in 1st gear?

@@mallavikabhagat9670 it's worth nd value for money , other compact SUV top variant are costlier than Nexon. XUV 300 is also good option. Nexon have good interior than XUV 300. Both are 5 star rated car in safety parameter.

Xma is best ....or xe is best.....there is no issue with xma for normal driver....only 120+ speed 10 sec mein Lena h to amt mein delay hoga baaki it's super and future is automatic....manual will not be able to resale after 5 yrs

Most economical amt gears but it works well in disel . You can drive it smoothly in sports mode on hills up rise section gives good milage too.❤

The issue with the petrol engine noise, I never faced such issue I mean if you are hard on the throttle then every engine makes noise, if you are on eco mode and light footed then you won't even hear the engine

I just bought a XZ+S in petrol. Man, what a vehicle. Smooth like a butter. The clutch is nice, torque is satisfactory and drives smooth in traffic as well( surprise, surprise). Do yourself a favour & buy that manual!!! If you have cash surplus, go for IRA connected car tech.

My experience with Nexon AMT petrol is..On long drives, once you cross the speed of 30 on city mode, you should shift to Eco mode...You will feel like driving a sports car....Yes like a sports car...But remember don't start straightway from Eco mode.. Start with City then shift to Eco..The Gear shifts on Eco are very fast..As the name suggests, City mode is meant for city traffic..Here the gear shifts are slow...There are no jerks at all while changing the gears...Competitors are spreading false information about jerk problems..Go for Nexon as it is a big car from inside, safe , loaded with features, great music system, amazing built & good petrol engine

@@sankararun those who are driving manual cars, may find some issues while quick acceleration as it can automatically shift without any clue to match the end result. I learned car driving with AMT only so I have a judgement when the processor shits gears. AMT is refined in Nexon 2020 which results in more smooth shits and can sense hills and need of torque or speed as well. but once one gets habitual to it then it's working fine. you may see most of the foreign cars are automatic only. I will recommend AMT if City driving is more than 50%
