That intro was just amazing. Tons of vibe and great playing aren’t often accomplished at the same time. Just wow.

I’ve recently watched a lot of demos for the Volante and I think yours was a really helpful complement to them. Thank you for demoing the looper aspect in more depth. Beautiful playing as well. I’ll be watching more of your videos!!

Beautiful demo, Keven. You covered a lot of ground. Minor11 chord for reverb demo - nice😉. A lot of pedals do tape machines nicely, but Strymon has the tone perfected. Four heads are better than one, hehe. Great feature set. Yours, and Pete Celi’s demos are the best out there for this pedal. Well done (you are getting good at doing these!).

Hahahah right!!! I totally agree. You use the Brigadier is that correct? Appreciate the kind compliments, it's fun to do these, and learn a lot in the process!

I have to violently agree with Barry. You've done a wonderful job of demo'ng the Volante. I discovered this bad boy a couple of months ago and bought one very recently. I haven't had it a week yet. There is SO much to learn about this thing. Until I found Kevin's demo, the best I've seen is Pete Celi's so we're in agreement there too. Nice job, Kevin, and you're a killer player too. Two thumbs up! 👍👍

@@KevenEknesMusic Man, I did, but I have to say I was really pounding myself in the gut about it, as another delay I pedal was the last thing that I needed, given that I am a hobbyist rather than a musician. Having said that, man, ZERO regrets. The Volante is INSANELY good, as well as straightforward to use. It's like in a different league. As always, great & informational video, Keven. Love your work!

The mechanics knob is *not* wow and flutter, Nor does this function even sound remotely close to wow and flutter. The volante manual also does not state that mechanics is wow and flutter. They are very different things producing different drives sounds
@hoover7284 жыл бұрын
‘Controls the amount of including: friction, creases, splices, and contaminants.’ How does that not include wow & flutter? At any rate, at 6:33 he refers to the Mechanics knob as introducing wow & flutter. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaGoYYeomt6XkNU
@hoover7284 жыл бұрын
From the Volante FAQ: tape - Wow and flutter is applied as the MECHANICS knob is turned up. Tape crinkle is added as you turn past the 12 o’clock noon position.

Very different units!! Each got it’s own good sides :)
@hoover7284 жыл бұрын
Your DD-7 has: -4 heads that can be chosen in many configurations including which heads feedback? -extensive control over the tonality and modulation of every mode? -midi capability? -an analog preamp with adjustable gain? -8 presets? -degenerating looper that can go into reverse and change speeds?
