Next Level Furniture Makeover

This week I refinished one of my favorite pieces ever. I went back to my roots and started dry brushing and layering. I had so much fun and truly got lost in the process. Of course there was some gold involved at some point thanks to ‪@ReDesignwithPrima‬ I hope you guys enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it!

It was gorgeous. And then better with the deep blue. And beautiful with the dry brushing. And even better after deepening the blue for contrast. And I really thought you were done after the transfer and the blending. Then you looked us right in the eye and smiled and I knew you were taking this art to the next level! Because I love the beauty of natural and stained wood, I wasn’t sure if I would like this, but how could I not? This is pure artistry! This piece is so beautifully transformed, it is just as gorgeous as the original and in a different way. I could watch her work for hours, it is really so soothing. The video itself is another piece of art!

Kacha I am in awwwww with your work. I’ve been binging your podcasts, but not completely done with them. Would love to see or hear your process on moving furniture in and out of your home and how to secure it properly for transportation. This is by far my most favorite piece you’ve done

What I do is wrap it in clear wrap and moving sheets. But I just started the process of shipping furniture so I am sure there is plenty more to learn!

WOW absolutely stunning Kacha. I was watching & watching thinking Hmm no gold 🤔 and then just after the 10 min mark you turned to the camera and smiled and there was the gold 👏🙌 lol. Wouldn’t be a true Kacha piece without a bit of gold somewhere. Whoever gets this piece is very very lucky. I loved the new way in how it was filmed. Well done Carlos & the music chosen was just spot on. I did miss your voice though & your beautiful accent 🙂 also what I noticed was how on earth do you manage to paint a piece that big and not get a single drop of paint on you? I want to say that this is one of the most beautiful pieces of furniture I have ever seen. I love the blues! I'm not a fan of gold at all so I would have done silver probably or left it the way it was before the wax, but it is gorgeous either way!!
