Thank you very much for all your videos! Could you tell, please which is better Sim-Lab GT1 Evo or Next Level Racing GTELITE? On your videos Sim-Lab GT1 looks like more rigid...
@ADAPTNetwork
@ADAPTNetwork 6 ай бұрын
Thanks for your question @@eugengt55. Both rigs have their pros and cons, with the NLR GT Elite being easier to make adjustments and the Sim-Lab GT1 Evo utlising thicker-grade aluminium profile. I'm also currently reviewing the Sim-Lab GT1 Pro, which I'd highly recommend as it takes the best bits from both rigs ( adaptnet.work/GT1Pro ). Hope that helps mate. 👍

@@ADAPTNetwork Hey, thank you very much for feedback. Now I/m definitely choosing betweeen SIMLAB GT1 EVO and PRO, and can't understand why PRO is a bit more expensive...
@ADAPTNetwork
@ADAPTNetwork 6 ай бұрын
No worries @@eugengt55; happy to help. Like the NLR GT Elite, the GT1 Pro utilises bespoke alloy plates to join pieces of profile. Similarly, the base profile is pre-machined so that it simply bolts together directly. Presumably, this is more costly to produce, but it results in a stronger overall build ( adaptnet.work/GT1Pro ). The GT1 Evo, however, uses off-the-shelf corner brackets, which are cheaper to purchase in bulk ( adaptnet.work/GT1Evo ). Does that make sense?

I just switched from controller to wheel. Currently using a table as my mount 😂 I need one of these! Playseat looks tiny so gt lite looks more suited for big guy. I just don’t have the money for it right now. Maybe il find one used.

Is there a reason why you don't move the rig as close to the desk as possible? I would try to fit it almost under the desk. A slim guy like you (and me) should be able to slip into the rig without the need of opening (?). Great review and I think I'll give it a try _because_ of your review! 👍

Thanks for your comment uhuebner-I'm stoked you liked the review. In normal use, I would do just that. And, you are correct that it is possible to step into the rig without opening the wheel mount assembly. However. for the purpose of the review video, we moved the rig back to better show the GT Lite Pro in action. Happy sim racing dude! 🏎🏁

hi mate - great review. Looking for a foldable rig like this for my new flat. Have also seen your review of the f-gt lite and wanted to know whether I can adjust the gt lite pro to a formula setting? The TV is quite low to the ground but I feel the pro will give me better support. If it can be adjusted to a lower level like the formula setting I think it'll be worth it. I use a g923 and I am about 6ft and 95 kilos for reference - thanks!

Hi guys, do you know if I can use my Thrustmaster t128 on this rig? And what about the pedals? Many thanks, and great review!
@ADAPTNetwork
@ADAPTNetwork Ай бұрын
Thanks for your question Carmelo. Unfortunately, neither the T128 wheel base or pedal set are hard mountable, so they will be tricky to install on the GT Lite Pro. You could potentially use the table clamp to attach the wheel base, by moving the wheel deck forward to allow enough space (7:24). One way of attaching the pedals is to strap them down with the extra webbing that comes with the GT Lite Pro. This could work, but I'm not 100% sure. It might be worth a try, otherwise I'd suggest upgrading to a wheel and pedal set with hard-mount points. Hope that helps. 👍

Hi,so,you would not recommend DD1 Fanatec podium for this rig? Thank you
@ADAPTNetwork
@ADAPTNetwork 8 ай бұрын
Thanks for your question peergynt. The GT Lite Pro is rated to support direct drive wheel bases up to a maximum torque of 13Nm. And, based on my own testing, I think that's a fair recommendation. You'd still be able to run a Fanatec DD1, however, it would be advisable to proportionally lower your force-feedback settings. If you want to get the most of this wheelbase though, but are short on space, I'd suggest looking at the Wheel Stand 2.0 as an alternative option ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIuoh55vZZereMU ). Hope that helps. 👍

@@ADAPTNetworkwould you recommand the Next Level Racing wheel stand 2.0 over this ? Im think its more stable than this right ?
@ADAPTNetwork
@ADAPTNetwork Ай бұрын
Thanks for your question @@mimosaevo and apologies for the delayed reply. Hmm, that's a tough call. The Wheel Stand 2.0 is arguably more robust. However, I was impressed with the performance of the GT Lite Pro and the seat is surprisingly comfortable. If you need maximum rigidity, opt for the Wheel Stand 2.0. But, the GT Lite Pro has its advantages too. I hope that helps. 👍

What do u think, is it gonna be enough for club sport dd 12 nm?
@ADAPTNetwork
@ADAPTNetwork 22 күн бұрын
Great question mate. I tested the rig with my Fanatec CSL DD-boosted to 8Nm-and, while I did still experience some longitudinal motion from high force feedback kicks, the additional straps worked well to dampen any side-to-side motion. So, I think you should be fine with the Club Sport DD, as long as you are OK with some small movement in the wheel deck. To be honest, I don't think you will notice much flex while driving, but it does depend on your own sensitivity to this. Hope that helps. 👍

Couldn't you just get the base model gt lite and use like ratchet straps to make it sturdier?
@ADAPTNetwork
@ADAPTNetwork 10 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment Alex. If you already have a base GT Lite, this is probably the way to go. However, I'd recommend spending the extra £50 on the GT Lite Pro, based on the upgraded seat alone. Hope that helps. 👍

Thanks for your question 4k. I’m assuming you’re referring to the rear leg...is that right? The tolerances are quite tight here, so I normally try to align the tubing on both sides and then incrementally slide it in, a few centimetres at a time. You may need to carefully ‘shimmy’ the tubing in by sliding one side and then the other, step by step. This should help avoid the misalignment issue. Does that make sense?

Thanks for your question Adrian and apologies for the delayed response. As Avery said, the GT Lite Pro remains very stable when in use, as your own weight keeps it planted to the ground. When folded, just be carful to lean it against a wall for support. Hope that helps. 👍

Is this compatible with the moza r5 bundle?
@ADAPTNetwork
@ADAPTNetwork 22 күн бұрын
Thanks for your question Dragon. Yes, I think you should be able to hard mount the Moza R5 directly to the wheel deck of the GT Lite Pro. To mount using four bolts, instead of just two though, you will need the extra base mount adapter (available from the Moza website). Hope that helps. 👍

I know this might be hard to explain through text, but I’ve watched Next Level’s instruction assembly video alongside with another KZbinr’s video and I’m a bit lost. I’m trying to get the rear tubing on and if I’m understanding the instruction manual correctly it’s as if I should be able to adjust that lower area outwards to slide the tubing in. It’s like my rear tubing is too long one side gets in and the other is way off. Do I adjust left side cam follower, is there something I’m not doing after I you pull out those two small screws and bolts to slide in the tubing. If you’re able to help that would be much appreciated.

@@ADAPTNetwork Thank you for replying, yes I’m referring to the rear legs. I was able to somewhat get the legs in yesterday when I was trying to assemble the unit. I could tell it wasn’t smoothly sliding into place like I felt it should. So out of fear of bending it or getting the legs stuck I removed it. Maybe I had it and didn’t know but I shall give your advice a try, fingers crossed hopefully I can build the rest of within a hour. Thanks again for the reply.
