Hi, how many different videos are saved on the cam? As in I have set 3 min videos and does this keep saving over and over and stored or does it rewrite the last 3 min video? When if you have accident and are knocked out so can’t press the red button to save? Thanks great Video

When the memory card is full it records over the oldest 3 min section of video. The memory card I use has about 4 hours capacity I think.

Nice straight forward video, thanks and just fitted one of these and all is working okay. In some of the videos I've seen where people are using this camera the text running along the bottom of the screen is much smaller. I can't see an option for reducing it's size so am I missing something?

Hi do you have any idea how to completely turn it off? Whenever I turn it off it turns back on when I’m moving and I need it off for a journey I’m taking.

Good video, just a quick question as I've bought one today...is there a loop recording setting or do I just set to 5 mins and does it's just record over every 5 mins? Thanks

THE GRIFF The answer to your question depends on the size of the SD card you have in it I think for this model a 32gb records 4 hours of video then starts to record over it when it's full. So you should have the last few hours of footage at any given time. I should also point out if the camera senses an impact it will put the last few seconds and the few seconds after in a protected file on the SD card which will never be deleted or recorded over unless you connect it to a PC or laptop and delete it yourself. Hope my answer helps.

Nice video thanks. Does the option to keep recording after you stop depend on how long your vehicle supplies power to the usb and 12v plugs on the interior? My Fiesta still gives me power inside to anything plugged in when I switch off until I get out and lock it. Thanks.

I have mine set to auto shut down in 10 seconds this means 10 seconds after the car stops supplying the camera with power the camera stops recording and shuts down.

You need to connect the cam to a fuse so your battery doesn't run down.

Dose it always have to be plugged in to work as don't want the trouble of feeding a wire through the car then having a charging unit hanging out the accessory socket

It does need to be plugged in to work you can wire it in to the car using a wiring Kit and you can have it so it goes on and off with the car ignition switch

Or u can do as I am and put a power bank in the glove box to stop it using your car battery depends on how much you use your car but I dont want to wake up to a flat battery

Does it save your time because mine resets the time why??? Also how do you know if its recording

[Yogi] Bossman209 I don't know why yours resets the time mine keeps it perfectly. Is yours unplugged for an extended period of time if so it could be that the internal battery is going flat but that is only a guess. You will see a red dot on the screen flashing at the top left of the screen with a timer counting in mins and seconds if you don't see this your camera is not recording. If it is not recording press the red button with OK written beside it. I hope this helps.

i have just heard it has to be hard wired for parking mode to work .......i have just got mine but it seems to work fine , it shuts down as normal but any movement in front of the cam it fires up and records......can you confirm this is correct?? cheers

Provided you have enabled Parking Mode ( if you have you should see a blue letter P in the corner of the screen when the camera is on) the camera will activate and record a few seconds of footage using the internal battery to power it if your car receives a bump or a shake. It doesn't take a massive impact to do this slamming the door or boot hard can do it. This footage is recorded on to a separate folder on the SD card that the camera never records over.

A very good question the truth is I don't think my voice is suitable for a decent presentation I am blessed with a strong rural North West of Ireland regional accent which some people may have trouble understanding. In all my videos I have chosen text on screen rather than the spoken word although this may seem a bit like Charlie Chaplin to a lot of people (I am very aware of this ) it works for me

I do disconnect it but if you hard wire it in (nextbase have a kit for it) disconnecting it wouldn't seem practical
