I worked for iron maiden for about 12yrs starting in the early 90s. He is the most intelligent and genui e guy. What u see in this interview is Bruce all of the time. He's on 11 always. When he says he gets I to something learns it then moves on to the next is so true. I remember when he was starting to learn to fly. When he came in the office he would tell us everything about planes. How the aerodynamics work, the mechanics, absolutely everything, whether u wanted to listen or not!! Great guy.

I'm a year younger than dear Bruce. What a great down to earth guy. I did 2 small time support act gigs with him and other bands like Angelwitch, Praying Mantis, etc in 77/78. He made it. I didnt 😂 Although his musical influences are close to mine, I wasn't really a Maiden fan, greatly entertaining as they were live. He has an active, inquisitive mind and a good sense of humour and about the realities of modern life. I particularly enjoyed his approach about ego/ post gig routine. An excellent insight of an interview and well done to all.

@@bryancalle3087 I adore Rob (and Priest) but he's not explored so many diverse areas. He's stuck in music. @biorythmicshifter3 жыл бұрын
The greatest front man in the greatest band in human history in my opinion. There is none greater. Bruce was like a superhero to me when I was a kid. I remember hearing the intro to Murder in the Rue Morgue for the first time, that atmosphere created with the harmonics and eerie clean guitar chording scared the living shit out of me for some reason. It encapsulated the mood the cover had. When Bruce showed up it was a fucking spiritual awakening for me, never before had I heard such a powerful voice. The music from the band was always powerful but adding his voice turned them into a force of nature. Nothing can stop it as their legacy shows…
