I work in downtown Denver and my job employs cops that do some shifts there, the cops say they have orders to let anyone driving undocumented go. . . I think you may be right. Sadly, Denver is the one city I hate to see going through this the most. In the past they were very kind to the homeless. Even had laundry trucks driving around once a week that would pick up your clothes and you would meet back up with them a few days later to pick them up. They did the same with driving around with vehicles with large bathrooms for the homeless and they were working on getting portable showers they'd drive around the city to help the homeless. Also many churches would hand out good food for the needy. Also, I thoughts it was so sweet. I was attending one of the major downtown churches and I was shocked and amazed to learn they took up collections to help fund the LGBT parade and events. That honestly made me cry. That's how people should be to their brothers and sisters. Love thy neighbor right? Anyway.. point being .. I really hope they can figure out a way to turn this around.

This illegal immigration crisis sickens me. It literally makes me physically ill and my stomach knots up every time I think about it. I'm in Oklahoma and there is an ever growing population of illegal immigrants here too. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find rental properties here. The illegal immigrants are quickly filling up rental properties (I don't even know how they are renting places with no proper documentation and identification). One illegal immigrant rents a house or an apartment and then fills it up with 6-8 additional illegal immigrants. Each one of them ends up paying around $200/month in rent. And they drive nicer looking cars than many hard-working legal citizens.

Glad Boulder is doing alright, it's a beautiful little town. I like Denver too. Years back, there were homeless all over the place but you could tell most didn't want to bother anyone and it still felt relatively safe. If I lived there, I'd be very scared of all those illegals flooding in. This country has been turned upside down. Now they target a former president that proved he loves this country and the people in it and yet with all Bidens done they won't impeach.. then again if they couldn't remove Mayorkas, they most likely would never get Biden out. It just really gives the optic that the party systems are a lie and behind the scenes they're all working together. I just.. this is so nutty it's almost incomprehensible.

Denver was the one declaring itself a 'Sanctuary City' and opted not to cooperate with ICE. I don't recall the surrounding cities doing that, and hence they should not be expected to bail Denver out the situation THEY ALONE created for themselves
