I've seen every media interview with Coach DeBoer since he arrived in Tuscaloosa. This one is absolutely the best. I think the reason is Adam Breneman's style of asking not only excellent questions but having the personality that makes the interviewee feel relaxed. Plus, it's easy to tell that Coach DeBoer is extremely confident with who he is and has a commanding presence.

Agree. What he says at "defining success" segment is what I look forward to seeing. I wish the best player on my Dallas Cowboys had that coached into him at Penn St. But I guess when your coach calls the goat Nick Satan...that's what you get.

you are def a dawg fan & someone who is an obvious college football fan with intelligence. anyone who doesn’t see this as a continuing threat for college football is just a flat out Bama hater. it’s normal tho, everyone hates the team who been at the top & are all eagerly waiting to see how much the tide fall off. nobody knows the real answer until the season begins. & some of you, may be in for a loooong season of Bama comes with with new energy, intensity, & continuity ❤️ it’s a tall ask. def not an easy season coming bamas way but I’m sure everyone in that program are prepared for war next year. excited for the season as a Bama fan, excited for college football as a fan, &&& buying tickets for that Bama/Dawg game. can’t wait for it!!

@@angieledbetter7382I’m sure he is a Dawg fan. He’s just a Dawg fan that has the ability to look past his own fandom and recognize a coach having things set on the right track for success. I’m no fan of Georgia but I’m smart enough to know that’s gonna be Alabamas toughest game of the year for the foreseeable future.

When Deboer talks about defining success, his definition is extremely process oriented - in the same way that Saban was. I can really see the parallels. I think he’s a phenomenal coach and I’m excited for the new era of Alabama football.

@@KosisochiIfediba Yeah deboer reminds me of saban the way he was using his hands when he talked, deboer has high caliber players to choose from in the sec & out of state players but fans need to worry a bout the players stepping on the field this seaso , not taking anything from the pac 12 but there not the sec but he did take washington to the playoffs in his second year with less caliber players, a lot of the teams comming back we all know the goal to make it back to the playoffs & finish what they started.

I'm a life-long BAMA fan. I'm really pulling for Deboer to be successful here. He is off to a great start and his track record is very reassuring. His character is what sticks out to me. Above all, we need a coach that genuinely cares about these young men and sets them up to be successful in life after football. Unfortunately, in order to do that for very long here at Alabama, you have to win. I think he wilk win and win alot. We are still the STANDARD. RTR

It's great to see this! The thing I still don't get from those doubts from people are...how did people expect him to recruit top 5 at the schools he were at? Obviously he's a great coach, but trying to recruit at Fresno State or Washington like at an Alabama or Lsu is so hard to do. But as shown now, being able to go to a school with winning history, it makes things a bit easier, plus him and his staff seem to have contagious personalities 🔥

You can put it on wins, in fact you must win to meet the incredible expectancy but you won't bc Ole Miss and Auburn are gonna drag that entitled Tide nation through the mud. They will fire you in a New York second; when Auburn runs the score up on you it's over right then and you might as well go clean your desk out; better yet don't even put your stuff in there yet. Hugh Freeze WILL run that score up and tear the goal posts down if you get complacent just a little bit; he ran the Great Nick Saban, Kirby Smart, Scott Cockrell, Lane Kiffin, and the best 5 star recruits in the nation off from Tuscaloosa, AL in 2015 and you are not any of them.. You're the sacrificial Lamb Mr DeBoer! Hotty Toddy Gosh Almighty!!
