To those who deride Nexus and it's machinery I say this. As far as genuine metal detecting accumen is concerned, you do not possess a pot to p#ss in, or a window to throw it out of. Nexus machines are "not be for the faint-hearted", but proper full-on anything is not for the "faint-hearted". MPV3 is an Incredibly versatile tool, in profficient hands. It is a connoisseurs metal detector imo.

Thanks for these interesting vids Paul. I wish some of this setting-up info was in the Nexus operating Manuals. It would save a lot of experimenting time..! Do you tend to use dual tones on the V2, for better IDs, or All Metal single tone..? (where there's Iron contamination).

When swinging the V2 it really depends where I'm hunting, I do like to use the dual tone sometimes but it's not as fast as the VCO on the V3 so it lends itself to lovely moderate swing speed to work best. In regards to setting the machine up, it's really quite basic, just use your senses ✌🏻👍🏻.

Hi Paul....i am planing on buying a Nexus MP V3 from Nexus. i live in the UK and i know you do to. can you tell me please. when you bought your machine from them direct and it arrived here in the UK. how much import duties/taxes etc did you have to pay. many thanks in advance......👍
