Fundamentals of Nursing is honestly the hardest class I've ever taken. It is so challenging, not just because of the exams but also because of how much information there is to take in. Pharmacology is not nearly as bad as Fundamentals is.

Stepping into my BSN to RN program this month. Orientation is this Friday, I’ve been a medical assistant for 4 years and finished all my prerequisites last year. Took my TEAS test in June and got accepted. This was a great refresher, I was answering a lot of the questions because of me still being up to date on my A&P and knowing what therapeutic vital sign ranges are it has helped me answer some questions off top. I really appreciate you taking your time out to do this when you didn’t have to. I will be using your videos throughout my program along with my studying. You are truly a blessing and I love to see it from a woman who looks like me and who’s so passionate about nursing. That prayer in the beginning did it for me, I bowed my head and closed my eyes. I know God is truly preparing me and he won’t let me fail either but you are AMAZING and everything makes sense when you speak.🙏🏾✨🫶🏾

@@Lisa-fl3bz Hi... I PASSED!!!! My first exam... To be honest it was downhill after that.. Exam 2# and 3# I failed by two points... My hair fell out from the stress of nursing school and my anxiety level was off the charts..studying six to eight hours a day, . I got sick with COVID & PNEUMONIA out of know where... I missed three exam and most of my clinicals... Got to a point where I could not even walk.. Was sick as a dog for about two months.. Nursing school is awful.. I felt like I was in a pressure cooker the entire time.. !!! I thought that was my passion but its not.. I think I was in love with the idea of being a nurse... it wasn't for me and I'm getting my life back together.. Life is too short to be that stressed and unhappy.. I pray that God reveals to you his purpose for your life.. You be blessed!!! Nursing isn't just about passing the exams...You have to be able to deal with the overwhelming stress that comes with it...

I just started watching your videos yesterday and I absolutely love them! I know I'm learning in school but most of the time I feel like I'm not understanding the material enough. I believe I suffer from ADHD (seeing a professional this week) and I struggle to grasp information in class because it can be so monotonous and slow! Some of my teachers are not very engaging or teach us as if they expected us to know everything they are talking about without explaining things. You're videos are usually only 30min. but I feel like I'm understanding a lot more! Things are actually sinking in and I believe it's because you go to the point but you also explain why the answers are wrong or right without expecting your viewers to know everything! I cannot express how greatful I am. I have an exam tomorrow and while I have studied by reading a bit, I feel like these videos are actually sinking in a lot more and it makes me feel a little more confident about nursing school. @@NexusNursing I passed all of my classes and after watching your videos along with my studying I passed all of my exams and the HESI! It wasn't at all easy for me and most of the time I felt like I was barely hanging on or sinking but somehow it all worked out and I passed my first semester. I have 3 semesters to go to become an RN. Thank you for your work and dedication in making these videos to help future nurses. We know that there's no need for you to make these but you are making time for them even though you still have work, family, and other things in your life. I love your videos, the way you explain things, your sense of humor. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I have one comment about how you explain one of your answers: digestion. You mentioned that digestion starts after food pass through the stomach. Actually, it starts when the food is in your mouth. Amylase in saliva break down carbohydrates and lingual lipase break down fats. The digestion of protein starts in the stomach.
